The cutaway to Gerald and Kenny fighting in the park is hilarious. One of the best moments
i died the first time i watched it.
Kenny and Gerald couldn’t get enough of that “cheese”.
It's a great move Fractured But Whole.
This is actually one of the few episodes where Cartman genuinely cares about someone else and helps others without wanting to gain anything out of it. Granted, it's cats, not people, but still...
honestly probably was going to sell them or rent them
which is why he's always redeemable! lmao, he loves cats
Him showing genuine empathy for the cats is one of the only reasons he isn’t labelled a psychopath.
This isn’t the first, or only, episode that depicts cartmans love for animals or for his cat, for all of cartmans sins he’s a lover of animals and that shows he’s not completely evil or without empathy. (Except dolphins strangely enough in whale wh*res lol)
@@thehorrorhound6575 Cartman shows classic sociopathic behaviour. Sociopaths don't have much empathy for people but they do show empathy towards animals, babies etc.
I think the joke about the cat piss is people will literally do anything to get high and they were baiting people to actually try this for a joke!
It’s a joke yes, but it’s also true. That’s what makes it even funnier.
@@Fmanzo10 so do you think they were baiting the people like Stuart and Carole McCormick? 😂 if the Internet existed in its current form when major boobage came out, with UA-cam, tick tock and Instagram, you would 100% see some people try it!
No, it's true
It’s a reference to drug mep@edrone which is described as a cat piss smell
I mean if you say jessica rabbit's heavy metal cousin, wouldn't you?
The scene where Gerald apologizes with his wife by his side is a direct reference to Eliot Spitzer's resignation as Governor of New York after he was caught soliciting high end prostitutes.
Lol
This is an example of hypocrisy.
I haven't seen most of South Park, but the moment Kenny started tripping I got a flashback to The Fractured But Whole and summoning Gerald using a vial of "cheese". The same song and everything lol. I loved that summon.
In case you missed it Dash, Gerald's apology at the end with his wife standing next to him in the grey shirt, looking all disgusted, is a reference to NY Governor Elliot Spitzer's apology after being caught up in a scandal with his involvement with a prostitute.
The wall choke was actually a thing at my high-school around 2005. Kids would lean against the wall and cross their arms like a vampire. Then would have another kid push and lift them up the wall and they would get high. Had multiple kids pass out and get hurt
Jesus, did y’all not have Xanax?
Yeah, this choking thing is actually WAY older than 2005. We did something similar back when I was in high school in the 80's. It didn't get you high but you did loose consciousness for a couple seconds.
People did that back in the 80s in my middle school.
sounds about right
Do you have a more clear tutorial?
I'm guessing the flowers represent opium flowers, aka "poppy"
I love the call back to the movie “Heavy Metal.”
2:29 the way Kenny says “yeah” is so hilariously cute and relatable. 🤣😂❤️🤘🏻🍒🍈🍉
Acording to the two addicts I went to high school with, fermenting feces was indeed a thing. It's called Jenkem.
😮
It's an urban legend.. they never tried it unless they are slum-kids living in India
Stop it, Intrusive thoughts!
😂 “because it’s fon to do” always gets me.
Love this episode and love Heavy Metal.
The fermented waste is actually an inhalant called jenkem
That’s “HUMAN waste”
don't chase the brown dragon, it's not worth it
Boof jenkem
Which proves how BS the drug war is. IF you could just go and buy coke, no one would sniff shit and if you could just buy coke, it would be super cheap and no one would have ever made the far worse drug crack.
@@ramdom_assortment wrong take bud, if it was easier/cheaper even more kids would get hooked to them
Heavy Metal is one of my favorite animated films out there and this episode is also one of South Park’s best episodes.
One of the best SP episodes. They really nailed it.
Major Boobage is legendary .
1:40 Kenny riding on Heavy Metal
Yo the fact that you get references that my stupid self doesn’t is amazing, it’s cool to get to see the references to these things
Man you're consistent and I appreciate it. Definitely helps throughout the day.
I appreciate you. Thanks!!
all the south park animal sounds- especially the cats- will always have me rolling
I love how the guidance counselor just gives them all these ideas to get high lol.
This will always be my favorite southpark episode. If there was no legal or bodily consequences i think everyone would get high to see this sort of thing 🤣🤣🤣
2:04
Dash: He’s in heaven. Kenny’s in heaven.
Love this episode.
Back in my drug days I liked acid very much.
That and cocaine.
Dropping acid and watching "Heavy Metal" was a blast.
Luckily I realized I was fast becoming addicted to drugs and booze and forced myself to stop doing drugs and the heavy drinking.
I do still like the occasional drink now and then but very rarely and usually only one maybe two drinks.
I never caught that "Fon to Due" line before lmao!!!! 🤣😂
9:43 I love Kenny’s dance!
"Kenny's in heaven!" Yes, yes he is.
Playing with weapons is a real good episode
Seconded
Retsss fighting roooovvvvve
Let's fighting love
He reacted to it. "Good times w weapons"
This is my all time favorite South Park episode.
The Fermenting Feces thing is from an Old Internet Story where two people Fermented Feces in a Jar. the Name for this was Jankem There were some Media Reports Speculating that People were Making this Concoction but I don't know if anybody Really ever did.
This episode is hilarious, great reaction!
Thanks for watching 🙏
Damn man, you really had to remind me that David Carradine died choking himself and his chicken simultaneously 😭
2:04
“He’s in heaven. Kenny’s in heaven.”
A great reaction to a great episode. Favorite part. Watching Dash trying to work out which of the listed ways of getting high are real 🤣😂🤣
Major Boobage is probably my favorite episode!
This, and "proper condom use" and "Erection Day" are all 5 stars 🌟
Edit: "Bass to mouth" is a must 👀
we need super action school news lolol
That is awesome! A great tribute to “Heavy Metal.” I noticed that in the B-17 section, they changed the plane from a B-17F to a B-17G. I liked their version of Taarna, but with the bad guy’s hat.
This is one of my most favorite episodes that I can totally relate to kenny.
I just realized the news bits about "cheesing" was very similar to derrick comedies "bro rape" skit which came out 2 years before this episode.
I swear Cartman’s cat seems to change between being female and male in different episodes
This isn’t the first, or only, episode that depicts cartmans love for animals or for his cat, for all of cartmans sins he’s a lover of animals and that shows he’s not completely evil or without empathy. (Except dolphins strangely enough in whale wh*res lol)
"This way a good kitty episode" 😂
When Gerald is making his speech it is a reference to when Elliot Spitzer gave a press conference to "apologize" for his marital "indiscretions". His wife stands beside him in a blue suit, looking very unimpressed.
This episode had me looking up the music, and start listening to heavy metal.
I work with wild cats and have been sprayed a few times, most recently being last week. Thank god I had a change of clothes. 0/10 do not recommend.
That’s just because you’re no fan of the HeavyMetal movie!
So the David Carradine comment... Yes, that´s how he died. It is also a plot point in the South Park Episode "Sexual Healing". Please, consider watching it.
😯 Oh wow! I had no idea it became a South Park plot. Thanks for that.
Season 16; Episode 1 Reverse Cowgirl is really funny. Toilet Safety Administration (TSA) bits are hilarious.
Yes fermenting forces was a thing I think it still goes on. I actually loved this episode one of my favorites it’s the only time we see cartman care about Kenny or one of his friends. I couldn’t stop laughing at all in this episode.
gotta admit, it's a legit question fam lol
I remember watching that movie Heavy Metal when it first came out. Loved it. Plutonium Nybord was what those two aliens did the snow dive into, lol. 🤣🤣
That one and the "Warcraft" episode are my absolute favs
Damn the Irony of Cartman in this Episode 😂😂🤣🤣😂😂
Kyle’s face after what Cartman says at 7:21 made me lose it 😂
Bro, you catch all the references.
Indicative of a wise man with a
finely developed sense of humor.
Respect.🤘
One of my all time favorites
Heavy Metal was a movie with some famous rockers- check out the movie and the album! Saw it in San Diego in the 80's while in the Navy.
Just pointing out that Gerald had "been clean for ten years" yet he had the cat harness all rigged up and ready to go in the basement. 🤔. Also, fermenting feces? Wtf is he talking about?
A reaction to Heavy Metal would be pretty rad, just saw it recently for the first time, good stuff
Dead Celebrities is definitely your next episode
8:20 This was a parody of Bill Clinton's press conference about his Monika Lewinski scandal. Hillary Clinton had that look on her face while standing next to him.
Cartman needs to listen to himself on this episode.
You should watch heavy metal.
1 month later....
I watched heavy metal just know for the first time in a decade and it is still good for the animation and the work put in back then was an awesome feat. Plus the music is great 👍
I love how in some scenes all of the nipples are censored and in others they are right there.
The “Die Hippies, die” episode needs to be checked it is such an amazing episode
Back in the early 2,000's I remember a friend trying really hard to convince me that school children were getting high on cat's piss by getting the cat to wee on their face. I don't know if it was before or after this episode but it would have been around 2,003-2,007.
I love the heavy metal reference
Yes..fermenting feces does...it's called 'Jenkim"...I don't even want to know who found out or who would try doing it...*barf*
Episode suggestion: Up The Down Steroid.
My personal favourite. I think it's Cartman's peak.
10:11 I don't know if it is true but if I am correct what I have heard was like doing it in a balloon and let it in the sun for a couple of days (but I can be totally wrong and I hope I am)
Oh man. Please do Free Willziak if you find the time!!! Love these full episode reactions.
That is indeed how David Carradine went out, found in a hotel in Thailand iirc.
I'm cheesed out of my effin mind right now !! 😂
The choking game was hilarious. I didn't play it but I sure did watch it.
The press conference is referencing the NY Governor at that time having a press conference talking about an affair or something (don't remember the details), but his wife was standing next to him the whole time.
They called it "cheesing" 😂
Hey Dash, I have a fun fact for you!!
All 4 of the main boys have tripped balls at least once in the duration of the show’s run.
1) Season 8, Ep. 11: Stan, Cartman, Kyle, and a few of their friends take large doses of cough medicine thinking it’ll give them good ideas for their news show.
2) Season 10, Ep. 2: Kyle and Ike take acid given to them by a bunch of San Francisco kids to cope with Gerald becoming a smug liberal hippie douche.
3) This episode here!! Kenny getting high off cat urine and tripping balls.
I couldve sworn there was an entire episode where Cartmans cat went around town in heat and tried to get mounted, which would make her a female cat
Dude all those methods to get high except the flowers unless their specific types in certain regions not native to Colorado are really ways to get high
The irony is cats pose a real health problem with Toxoplasmosis.
I have both Heavy Metal and Heavy Metal 2000 on DVD, and I can relate to Kenny on this.... it is too true.... Cheesing is a problem... it's too Fon-to-Do....
6:55 The American WWII Fortress and the US Airforce uniform -- is that a reference to Jewish author Joseph Heller's 'Catch 22'?
I love this thanks for reacting to this episode
Heavy Metal was such a good movie. You should totally rewatch. There is also a sequel Heavy Metal 2000. Not as good, but is alright
There's an f-ing;, in last Kenny quote, but here, "Hey! ¿What are you doing? Let him go."
I was cheesing 4 or 5 times a day at my peak.
great Video Dash!
Dash, you look quite young I'd say early to mid 30s, but you know a lot of movies and cartoons and you've watched them that I watched when I was a kid and I'm 52.
One of my favourite episodes hehe heavy metal babe still looks amazing 😍BOOOOBADGEEEE
Yeah, great reaction. I had forgot about this episode!
Great reaction
Thank you, Mark 🙏
News report is so similar to "Brass Eye - Drugs". Well worth a look.
First time I saw this episode I assumed Kenny would OD and die from the cat pee.
I’m sure there is a strain of marijuana called cat piss
🤣 😂
1:56 Heavy Metal❤❤
This was such a great episode
I love the heavy metal ref.
Jay Leno also provided the voice of Mr. Kitty in "Cartman's Mom is a Dirty Slut" episode
One, that sad Fiddler on the Roof violin number is so poignant with the Cartman scenes! Two, the drug issue response would be the same for gun control, smoking or drinking: either banned it all together or do it responsibly. Seriously, this town has tried a ban on anything at this point. And three, who do you think Captain Lincoln Stern would team up with before screwing over, or getting screwed over: Mr. Garrison, Randy Marsh, Cartman, the boys in general, Officer Yates?
Kenny is my spirit animal omg
