Cant wait to install thia on my B7. Ive sworn by protek rc 160ss servos in all my stadium trucks and buggies. My local track is the north America team powers distributior so they pushed me towards this servo and a few club drivers said it was amazing and better than the pro tek 160ss so we shall see. Have you used thos servo yet? How do you like it? How do you think it ranks amongst the top servos in the class like the 160ss? The 160ss ks a smidge faster but its so close i doubt i wjll notice. However the SRS V3 has mlre torque so i cant wait to test it on the track
I've found the SRS, via the control box to be brutal (so many parameters to adjust). I've chosen to run this standard out of the box best to suit my abilities. Best what i've found it is NOT power hunger like one of the known brands on the market. Unfortunately we here in OZ don't have access to the 160SS from Protek, so i can't compare.
@RABHobbiesParkdale have you tried the SRS v3 yet? Curious how you like it. And thanks for the heads up on just running it straight out the box. I was close to buying the programmer to adjust the whippyness of the steering. I can see how there are too many parameters tho and then the servo begins to feel choppy. Curious how you're liking it
@@LegendsPizzaCo I have this in Mr second tourer and have left the parameters, out of the box. It's been in the MTS T3M V1 now for 3 months and rock solid performance. No complaints at all. I changed the parameters once since, but have always reverted back to the box set up. It's proven to be the most drivable for me. Deviation from neutral since bolting in, nothing in all this time. 😊
Another Great Video ..
From the annoying one 😂
Any different this with pgs-lh-II

@RABHobbiesParkdale the 160ss is a super fast servo but tue SRS is very close in speed. I cant wait to test it on the track

What device is needed to connect the servo to the laptop?
This is the control box that's required to program the servo.
