Hi ausi... me and my friends are slow learners.... Here's a simple question which need a simple answer
I put R1000 how much will I get after 12 months

Banks have calculators for this. And you are allowed to ask them this question, before you put in money.
The reason why I can not give you that number it is because I do not know the category of returns % that R1 000 falls on.
The banks advertise up to 10.55% returns per annum for someone investing a minimum of R100 000.
This terms simply means if you invest anything less than what they want. You may not get that 10.55%
