The thing with bishu, he used a lot of .wav files. Premade sounds, Ari did shit like make it raw as fuck. However the amount of editing he took to modify the files made it good af.

fr, having his template ready to go for the actual use case called for by the challenge made a huge difference. I think that's what got him off to the races so fast, plus having a song idea prepared vs having to freestyle

Very true of the shock factor of EDM, it brought the hype needed for this contest. Fantastic job even though I personally edged out the win to Ari in the space station for his technicality and more relevant lyrics. Much love, can't wait for more content!

I feel bad that Brandon didn't get more of a vote percentage, I thought his song had a lot of vibe, complexity that was still fun to listen to, and kept things fresh throughout.

So, without throwing any shade Here, the Editor did a Solid Job - but thats about it. Nothing super remarkably IMO. Just simple good Work.

You can tell T-Pain was genuinely just impressed with Bishu’s track since he first popped in, you can tell he’s just vibing and shocked at how complete of a song you made with how much time you had. Honestly, I think I’d have the same reaction if I was watching live.
As much of a Bishu fan I am, I was rooting for Ari, glad he got 2nd! Incredible work all around.
Understood you completely when you said the EDM background and having a drop adds a lot, but either way you showed that you were extremely efficient and really skilled at doing all this under so much pressure.
I do think the other two did a great job too though, especially Ari. His song was absolute heat.

Honestly, for my personal tastes, I think Ariathome cooked the hottest. I am a huge sucker for cool sounding low synths, and he's got that in droves. It's a vibe for sure. Also I totally relate to how Bishu feels when looking back on his mannerisms and reactions when under pressure; I can't count the amount of times I wince when remembering something I did, so seeing it live on cam must be 10x worse.
Either way, that looked like a ton of fun! I hope something like this happens again in the future.

Ari is the DJ fo sho! T Pain really knows Bishu is a whole different level when it comes to production. Brandons busted machine is because of how hard he jams at the keys (mac and synth).

Honestly I love how you mentioned the fact that genre's like EDM really do have the advantage. If all 3 of your guy's pieces were exactly equal in quality and how good they were it's likely that EDM would win just because of the sheer attention it draws towards it because of it's genre.

Well, it was a popularity contest as tpain said in the intro. Technically the worst could win if their base was big enough 🤔.
It had nothing to do with my doubting himself. What he said is true, EDM has an inherent advantage because of how loud and bombastic it is. If all of the pieces were exactly equal and no one knew who any of the contestants were it's likely that Bishu with his EDM would have won.
The first drop at 32:20 just doesn't work though. Sounds like two songs played at the same time.

I liked Ari's one better but the earlier version when he had more of an electric guitar solo. At 19:00 was his best version imo and the best overall
i did like aris but i think bishu had the song i would listen to the most / the only one i would listen to again - brandon had a goofy ahh mix and aris was a lil cringe and the baseline was messed up

You practice making songs within 2 hours every day, doing all genres and randomised inspirations/soundbites. Also you only make your music type hype and entertain your audiencec live. So you know how to make captivating build ups and drops and it works
