the green comes from the blue and green undertones in the dye. you can always add a touch of purple then dilute the dye. it will change the color a little, bit you won’t have the green fade.
Why don't they just add it to begin with?
to help with the blonde tones coming in use purple shampoo or conditioner anything that says it's for silver hair will help keep the color longer I use shiny silver ultra but shimmer lights is also a good brand

ive ordered this color today and i cant wait to get it-it looks soooo great and because my hair is short, evenly white and ashy i‘m sure that the result will be amazing ☺️

How’d it turn out? I’m really curious as I wanna try it myself. Tried a silver dye from where I work but it came out a super dark grey so I’m wondering if I should strip it and try AF Sterling silver
@@anthonyprevost3968 hey :) yes i really liked it, but a very very great product to get silver/grey hair is „maria nila color refresh“ in black. thats a black sort of conditioner wich you can mix with regular white conditioner to achieve the exact shade of grey you want. this stuff cost about 30€ or so but its worth it and it lasts forever cause you really just need the tiniest amount. but never use it if you have bits of yellow in your hair because they will turn greenish with that. the arctic fox stuff is very good too but the cost per use isnt that good in my opinion cause you need a lot of it and it dont last super long. maria nila is better :) you can also find videos where people use this product for grey hair here on youtube :?
I had issues with it going blue instead of all grey even though my hair was all white so idk if this one was good
I know this video was like 4 years ago but if you wash your hair with a mixture of a little baking soda, dish soap (not detergent), and shampoo, the color will come out all the way and you won't have to shampoo it several times per shower. I think I left the mixture in for like 10-15 minutes and the remaining color I had washed right out. And don't forget to deep condition afterwards!

This is some of the worst advice ever given.
Just use a color remover or a bleach wash. Dish soap and baking soda, which is extremely abrasive, damage your hair more than either of those.
When it started to turn green did you try toning it? I used to maintain a steely purple colour with blue shampoo, so just a thought.
lejaders i used purple shampoo and color freeze conditioner 😊 real toner would have worked better, but i didn't want my hair to be permanently toned 😊

I’m not going to do silver now, bc I’m afraid of the “green” hue but it’s given me some good ideas for experimenting with temporary chalk or a temp wash out icy blond until I go a darker ash shade with white blond…then again who knows?!! 😂 we blonds change all the time! 💜💙🤍

I dyed my hair with this. I thought it looked green but everytime I asked someone they said it wasn't lol everyone was lying yo me!
it all depends on the lighting , might seem green to you but not to someone else
that's true :) sometimes it looked green to me, but not to someone else, and sometimes it was the other way around.

update: the green never faded away so I dyed my hair pink lol

Sick-as- Frick be sure to have your hair super light before using this colour 😊 also saturation is very important, so make sure that you definitely got enough dye before starting to apply it.
would mixing arctic fox periwinkle with the arctic fox silver hair dye stop it from turning green?

ll Juliia ll if you mix Transylvania and poison you can make your own grey I did a video on my channel before they made silver mine just faded to a whitish blonde tone no greens

ich habe da leider nicht so den plan von :D frag am besten einen friseur, es kann sein dass die farbe auf naturhaaren ganz anders wirkt als auf blondierten, auch wenn die helligkeit eigentlich passt. :) sorry dass ich dir da nicht weiterhelfen kann ^^'

Pigeon-chan I‘m wearing the same one as a base, but on top I‘m wearing a darker purple (Kilo) except on the wing. Then on top I‘m wearing a light purple (Kiko) but just in the middle! And then on top I‘m wearing a transparent one with glitter (also Kiko). I actually have a tutorial up on this eyeliner I think :)
