i really don't know what possesses people to put a thumbs down on what is basically a free gift of guitar love to the world. Im just learning and find the giuliani pieces magnificent (along with F. Carulli) to develop a repertoire of pieces. just need to buy a nicer guitar now! Thank you so much for sharing. Jason
Thanks for the comment and for appreciating. As I wrote somewhere before, these recordings are born out of the need I had as a student to hear another version of the etudes that I was struggling to learn at that time (sometimes I could find some studies of a certain series on the Internet but not the whole opus). After learning them I thought it would be a nice idea to put my version out there to fulfil that need in case some other students needed them. I know these recordings are not perfect but serve the original purpose. There´s always room for improvement and I sure would like to record EVERYTHING again to make them justice but I have to understand that probably I wouldn´t be happy with the results either. Perfection, at least for me, has proved elusive, but I keep trying. Good luck with your new guitar!!!!
Wonderful aid for studying and improving one's technical and interpretive skills, and let's not forget what it takes to accomplish such an effort. Gracias Juan
THANK YOU SO MUCH for publishing this. I have the scores and am leaning these pieces one by one on my own, it helps SO much if I can hear the rhythm and cadences of the pieces before dissecting them myself, also, very well performed my friend. Peace.
Danke für dein perfektes Spiel! Es erinnert mich an meinen Unterricht bei Heiner Viertmann in 1977. Jetzt wiederhole ich den Schmetterling, aber so gut wie du werde ich es nie können.
Even though some of these pieces are easy for me, playing them correctly a tempo free of mistakes and with some added dynamics is a delightful challenge. It takes discipline and acute concentration.
Many thanks and congratulations!! They sound great!! They were some of my learning lessons long time ago and listening to you reminds me of my student days
I'm working at these studies now. I find the intended tempo indicated at some pieces too fast. Some of the pieces can get very hard (at least to a beginner like me) while trying to achieve the correct tempo. Thanks for the recording
Hi! Actually, I played these pieces a little slower than the tempo indications ask for. As for gaining speed, do not worry too much. It's just about how many practice hours you put in. At the beginning, you should start slowly (I do). With the passing of time and as you start feeling comfortable playing at a given tempo, you increase the speed gradually. Patience and Hard Work. Thanks for listening!

Hello Juan, I don't think you need the Copyright Disclaimer. In General copyright in a work subsists from its creation and endures for a term consisting of the life of the author and in most countries 50-70 years after the author's death. The only copyright that applies here, is the copyright of the recording artist, which in this case I assume it is you. By the way, great recordings. Thanks for sharing.
abeethovn Thanks for the advice.I previously posted some Bach pieces, a Beethoven movement, some Chopin preludes, and I got copyright infringements notifications. I would have thought there was no way I could have been flagged for infringement for those old pieces. However, I was, and I had to go through the process of disputing the claim and making sure I gave "proper acknowledgement of authorship" or whatever they asked me to do, so that my account was not terminated.. Ever since I am using this copyright notice as a patternI have not received any other notification. So, now, I don't give it too much thought and I just paste it. But you are 100 % correct. I'll give it a try next time.
Juan Leon You got flagged for posting your own recordings? Ironic, since UA-cam is full of copyrighted materials. I assume Google software/algorithm could not tell the difference between your recording and another release of the same works. Or maybe those photos are copyrighted (just kidding) : -) Anyway, thanks again for posting these works. As a guitar student, I find your posts really helpful.
I don't remember the details but it had something to do with the music. Anyway, I disputed the claims and won, but I don't want to go through all that again. It takes too much time, not to mention that weird feeling that you are most likely explaining the facts to a computer program. Thanks for listening!

Long time ago I studied Le Papillon. Those pieces of Giuliani may seem easy but required me effort for brushing them up. Thanks for posting.

Es hat viel Trainingszeit gekostet, mein Freund. Sei geduldig und du Verbesserungen sehen. Herzliche Grüße!!!

Di niente!!!

Yep. That's me playing. Hence the imperfections and the out-of-tune cheap guitar.

I'm happy this will be of help!!
Thank you for your great performances.
do you think the difficulty ramp up for no.1-10?
Beautiful!
These are certainly very beautiful pieces from one of the greatest composers of guitar music. Greetings.
Bravisimo!!, gracias.
Bravo to you, for posting this set and so many other complete cycles of guitar etudes. A very commendable undertaking!
Thanks a lot for the support!!!!
Thanks these are lovely little minatures: not too hard but good music.
Giuliani, bien plus que compositeur un architecte musical.
Beautiful and subtly invigoratimg. Do you play either the lute or vihuela?
Sorry about the delay. Just guitar. When I can. Take care!

Juan Leon Nice to hear someone else plays all of these too. Good job.
Christmas saccharine best once a year
