This track really nailed how much of a beast 106 is. Fighting in the Courtyard and seeing the Jackal's dossier getting crossed out as "TERMINATED" in slow motion while this played gave me chills.
@@Ironed-Silver Imo, what makes it difficult (or not) is resource management. If you keep that infantry rifle as an ace up your sleeve, like I admittedly like to do, it's a brilliant way to counter heavily-armored enemies. Just make sure you don't miss...
As someone who is working on making her own fantasy universe, I have this to share: "There's no such thing as a "terrible weapon," so long as the one wielding it is aware of its efficiencies and deficiencies. The same can apply to tools, armor, and people in themselves. After all, that's why I chose a life in smithing rather than follow my mother's footsteps in the Nine Burning Legions. I'd rather be a builder than a killer." - Weaponsmith Iblis II of Tartarus
Love this soundtrack. This song is probably my favorite part of the entire soundtrack. I was in some courtyard dealing with a shit ton of enemies and had to shut down the laser gate which all that was a challenge since I was surrounded and had to deal with 2 heavily armored guys and to add the icing on top I had to fight the jackal as well. But during that whole fight this song was playing in the background and I was like this is badass. Love this game as it reminds me of the F.E.A.R. Franchise.
Personal tip for dealing with "Juggernauts?" AAH! (Always Aim for the Head) While you're using Slo-Mo ("Focus"), you have a lot of control over your aim compared to having to make due in real-time. This is because *_your shots are slowed, too, not just the enemies'!_* Take advantage of this by exploiting your Slo-Mo as an opportunity for better aim.
"You %$&!ers get all the insurance in the world! *_GET IN THERE AND GET THE JOB DONE!"_* >Proceeds to get swamped by Talon mercs and constantly dying to Juggernauts or Rama Honestly, Whitley's rage kept me from getting mad, myself, funnily enough! 😂
In hindsight, I think Task Force 27 ("The Syndicate") was more likely "higher-up" than Lazar and used 106 to help them achieve their goals. Trepang² truly is one of those games where you're playing as the villain of the story, but you don't realize it until the very last moment. You've forced your own maker to resort to monstrously drastic measures simply out of desperation - and all you can at least afford is to finish the job to seemingly put him out of his misery. Even after all of that, you're then betrayed by your own brothers and sisters in arms... That monster of an AI should have never played with the fire of a dragon like that of Subject 106. Every time you do that, it ends with fatal burns of all kinds.

F***that courtyard fight. So simple yet infuriating to me for some reason.
Beast is an understatement
Even more savage when you have the sword. You're literally an unstoppable beast of carnage.
