Agreed she and doctor strange will easily be the most influential characters to the entirety of the next phase of the MCU. With Wandavision clearly leading us to a House of M inspired universe, the rumors of Spider-Man 3 having multiple Spider-Men are looking extremely realistic

If it’s the same interview I saw (might have been whilst promoting Age of Ultron) she said something along the lines of would like to do that arc-fake twins and going mad. But thought that was likely too dark and weird for the MCU.

She's giving a lot of credit to Feige. Apparently, he was the one who came up with the idea which I didn't know. The man is a creative and business genius.
He comes up with a bunch of the storylines in the MCU and the overall direction of each phase.

Episode 8 of Wandavision wasn’t just the best performance she’s given as this character, it was just hands down one of the best performances in the entire MCU.

To see just how incredibly excited and thrilled she is to highlight Scarlet Witch more is the most endearing and telling thing by such an impressive actress; she's giddy! She's so passionate about the story and storytelling Feige's and Jac's (producer and writer) WandaVision is telling. This is a gem of a show that blows past any and every expectation.

Comic book movie stars always pay lip service to "oh I'm a huge fan of the original comics" but you can tell they aren't most of the time. Elizabeth seems like an exception. She seems truly excited about this story.

I remember a few years ago she said she wanted to explore the House of M storyline but “it will never happen”. This woman is so talented and so committed. She is just so perfect for this role and I love how she understands her character and whats going on with her character. I love that she is understanding comics enough to appreciate her character way more and appreciate the future her character has.
Just to be clear, WandaVision isn't just "House of M". It's a mashup between "House of M" and "The Vision". Which is an important distinction because without "The Vision" elements, there wouldn't be a Sparky 😁

Sparky was inconsequential. Also the show doesn’t derive that much from Tom Kings Vision. It’s more of House of M, Disassembled maybe and Wanda and Vision comics from the 80s/90s.

You can really see how excited she is about the show, in one of her first interviews when Age of Ultron came out she mentioned how much she wanted to do this plot but never thought it would happen, I'm so pleased that Elisabeth Olsen finally got to do the story that she always wanted to do.
A series is a better way to explore scarlet witch because a lot happens to her in the comics and it’s a mashup of those events and how would you put that in a film

I mean. A lot have already happened to her throughout the movies, ever since Age of Ultron. Her brother died, her home's gone (Skovia blew up), capt's gone, Nat's gone (they were close friends), Vision died, twice, from her own hand and Thanos'. Anyone would've break.

Short answer: A lot of grief.
Long answer: She lived in a war torn country. Both her parents die. Her and Pietro are trapped in their house for days. Stark Industries made the bomb which made her hate Stark. She became an orphan. She was experimented on and gained superpowers (which would be extremely traumatic for a child), she recognises she's on the bad side, her brother dies and she loses her only family, she saves hundreds of people (and Captain America) but accidentally blows up a building, she is the reason for the Sokovia accords, she fights her boyfriend/lover (Vision), she has to fight her friends, she watched Vision get impaled, she witnessed the near death of Vision, she kills Vision, she watches Vision die again, when she comes back Natasha (one of her allies) is dead, Captain America retires and Tony dies.
She basically lost everyone she loves. Even in WandaVision she's doing everything because of her grief. Keep in mind she had no way to express/release her grief between Infinity War and Endgame, and she believes that S.W.O.R.D is going against Vision's will. She wants to protect Vision and herself, as well as her children, because she's lost everything.
So basically, Wanda is dealing with a lot of grief (stress and pain) and she has no-one to support her.

It's so nice to see that Elizabeth talks about her character with so much joy as if she had followed her for an entire lifetime and to see her get so exited over the series its good
This was the best work around when mutants are still impossible to reference. Rather than the whole Earth being rewritten for mutant dominance, She simply wants a town to accommodate her perverse idea of a perfect family and a perfect life.
Disney owns 20th Century Fox now along with Marvel, which means they absolutely *can* reference mutants. They just have to find a way to make the introduction work within the story, which I think might be what WandaVision is doing: being the door that opens for MCU mutants, thanks to Wanda's goddess powers of rewriting the multiverse.
@@IceMetalPunk definitely is a way to introduce mutants with perhaps quicksilver being from the alternate xmen universe and such, and then with the other series like F&WS being in madripoor where mutant activity is heavy in the comics, and a bunch of other sneak peeks at other shows they're definitely bringing them in this way before trying to piece them into the big films

She's killing it. Her emotions are strong! I like how Monica mentioned a heavy sense of grief while she was in Westview and you get a brief look of Wanda in tears and screaming in pain. Like she's really devastated that vision is gone. When she figures monica out she's a total animal and throws her out. She's not willing to give all of her perfect life up, no matter who is controlling it. She knows it will be over soon but she wants to keep playing.
Kevin Feige is the screenwriter ? Damn, that dude knows his shit about comics and understands Marvel's characters so well. He's the main reason the MCU is such a success.

I think she's a great actress. Imo she's one of those different, somehow special actors out there in the industry, the likes of Bette Davies, Meryl Streep ,Tilda Swinton, Cate Blanchet ... I'm not saying she's as good as these legendary actresses I'm saying Elizabeth certainly has these especial vibe/feel on her , like Dakota Fanning, Anya Taylor-Joy, Aubrey Plaza (in a much more comedic way) some kind of charm on how she performs. Also she can perfectly find a balance between her big Marvel films playing Wanda (which I find wonderful) and her mostly Indi roles, Movies such as "Wind River", "Sorry for your loss", "Ingrid goes west" or "Very good Girls" (with the equally special Dakota Fanning) Elizabeth Olsen is something else and it shows everytime she's onscreen, I think she can only get better and better and in Wandavision she totally shines and the series is amazing

I think even the way she explains her answers and her passion is so unique and refreshing. Some people dont mean to come off generic but just do by nature, Elizabeth Olsen you can tell is genuine and the real deal. My favorite Avenger! ;)
