That looks like it was a blast! Due to bad knees and a bad back I think that it would behoove me to watch the mud sliding and just enjoy the show instead of participating. The boat ride would be great though. It's definitely on my bucket list. Thanks for the video.

Haha that brings back memories! I've done that river ride a couple of times (with a different company called the Shubenacadie River Runners). The first time, I got launched out of the boat on a really heavy set of waves. Hubby and I went in the fall and during some of the highest tides of the season. We had full suits on, not just vests, due to the colder water, lol. We live on the NB side of things along the Fundy Coast and so are very familiar with the tides.

Seasick, wasn’t Stacy in the Navy? How did you handle sea duty.? I know a carrier is similar to a cruise ship due to the size. Smaller ships get tossed around in stormy seas. I was in the Army for that very reason.

When you travel to Canada, what do you do with your firearms if you have them?
You have to leave them behind. Friends or rent storage.
I don’t know what you were thinking but when we visit the Bay of Fundy next summer we we will definitely NOT be doing the mud tour!

My husband loves the water. He would love to do this. I’m terrified of the water but that hasn’t stopped me from joining him jet skiing, white water rafting, on jet boats. It just takes some mental prep before and some calming techniques during. And in the end I have fun too. Just a bit of work to get there.
Why are you playing in the mud? I had to be rescued as a kid when I feel in the mud. Mom was mad because I lost my boot in that mud.
As a long time duck hunter in tidal salt marsh mud flats. You need to twist the heel with ankle outward and lift at same time all one motion. That's how you don't get stuck.
That was fun to watch. I bet the water was cold! One quick question, were you wearing a Happily ever Hanks t shirt?
It wasn't too bad once you got the first wave. Stacy did have on a Hanks shirt. We love them!

I'm from Nova Scotia (a small fishing village on the Atlantic) I live a couple hours from the Bay of Fundy and I've never did the sliding or the rafting ... LOL ... I know a guy that lives in 5 Islands , Nova Scotia , he said there is an island off shore and if you see the wave starts you actually have to run as fast as you can if you don't want to swim ..LOL .. Sounds dangerous to me ...

Everything felt fine the next day. The handled it really well. It didn't bend like it did before, but we made it work. We had camera mounts. The dang microphone had water in it that w didn't realize until editing.
My brother and his wife live about halfway up the bay a couple miles from the bay.
Nothing like some brown-water rafting! Fun fact: the Petitcodiac, which flows past Moncton to the Bay of Fundy, has a tidal bore that some people surf. It’s also known as the chocolate river, b/c, well, you’re wearing it

lol... I love riding the bore. I took a group of six from NYC who were on a cruise ship in Halifax. One couple rafted the Colorado & they said this was more fun because all you had to was hold on. And if you fell in, you wouldn't die. Yes, go on a full moon. Then you'll get the standing waves. This is when there's no place for the water to go so you get waves that just go up and down without going anywhere. As Phil said, it is a blast. I've done it about 10 times.
