The Philippines has approximately between 80 to 120 languages. Also embedded in there are dialects. You heard spanish correctly, tagalog is heavily influenced due to the Spanish colonization. South of the country is where you will hear Spanish more, Chavacano is Spanish creole. Ez Mil and his sister both can sing pop/ballads really well too.

The 3rd dialect is Ilocano, from northern and southern part of the Philippines. Philipines has 120 to 175 🤣 I think this includes the Indigenous people.
in this song Ez Mil used the dialect in the upper part of the phils ,nothern luzon we call Ilocano this the dialect of our president ,he used tagalog and I think he used visaya too which the native dialect of the southern part of the country

I know this reaction is while back, but I heard he was talking about being discriminated in the Philippines because he look more white than Asian since he is biracial. There is a thing in Asia about homogenous when you do not look like the rest of the population, people will treat you and look at you differently. But, I heard he said does not care about the color of his skin because he was born there and grew up there so he is Filipino. About the language the Philippines was colonized by Spain for 300 plus years, so some are borrow Spanish language but most part still have more Asian language. I believe the Philippines has many dialects, so the country still kept all of the Asian dialects. Also, all the Spaniards left the country back to Spain since the 1800's. Majority of the Filipinos have Taiwanese aboriginal blood and most Filipino dialects derive from Taiwanese aboriginal language. Also, Philippines is in Southeast Asia where Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. Also, Philippine Sea connects to South China Sea. Also, geographically close to East Asia where Taiwan, South Korea and Japan and that is why you here a lot influence with P-Pop with K-Pop. There at least two Korean management company in the Philippines which are SBT and MILD Entertainment. A lot of Filipinos love K-Dramas and K-Pop because of geographic location of both countries since they are both Asian countries and close to each other which Filipinos can easily consume Korean entertainment or media. I hope this information helps about EZ Mil and the rest is just added information about the Philippines.

And yes, because Tagalog has also incorporated some Spanish as we were supposedly colonized by another culture that attempted to erase our national identity. They have succeeded in demolishing our ancient written language as a result of centuries of subjugation.
