Brilliant ideas with these pencils. Especially shavings. I love no waste. I was lucky that someone donated a 12 pencil set of Derwents Inktense to me. I love them. I was so appreciative. Now I can get the most out of them.
That is great! I will be making more videos on Derwent inktense. They are a bit different to watercolour pencils. Unlike watercolour, once activated the Inktense become ink… this means they are permanent.
@@TracyAnneWilkinson yes, you can use on fabric too. I would love you to show me the Max I can get out of them. I don't want to waste my present. (I never get stuff given to me like that) The Zentangle community is great. Shout out to 'Angela Drummond' for being so kind. We both are English. I can't thank her enough. Little things mean a lot. (This was a massive thing to me, honestly) I'm very short of supplies, low on cash, (as we all are) But she got a big set and had doubles. Just to give me her doubles made me cry. I've been hanging around with the wrong 'friends' obviously. I love giving. Get a bit 'done in' recieving. Like I don't deserve it.
@@TracyAnneWilkinson Can't wait to follow that video. I love how you go into depth about everything. Never too old to learn. I still have lots to learn. I'm a right 🐑🐑🐑 😨😨😨 I am in your power. You are my leader.
@@carlitoalterego2709 haha! No pressure! I have only one video on inktense pencils but it was the first time I had used them. I’ll play around with them more and create a new video. I was planning to use Tombow pens in my next video but I might use inktense instead! My video using inktense is this ua-cam.com/video/Leomm5MqwIg/v-deo.html
Fabulous! But phew, that was a lot of work on your part. So much easier to watch. I learned a lot, tho, but also became more and more relaxed. This is a very soothing art form.Thank you.
After watching this awesome tutorial on how to use watercolour pencils on our zentangle art I can hear my tub of watercolour pencils jus screaming out now......” time to use me .....use me”. 🤣🤣🤣
I’m not sure what you mean. When I translated using Google translate it said the pasta that I made. If you meant the paint in the ice cube trays, I made it from the coloured part of the pencil shavings and some water.
It’s masking fluid. It’s a rubbery substance used to keep the paper underneath its natural white colour. It masks the paper so that it remains white when you add paint. Once the paint is dry it can be peeled off.
Hi Polly. I’ve just started a full time job. At the moment, it’s quite tiring. Hopefully, when I get more used to it, I might find time to make some more videos.
Can’t believe it took 3 years for me to discover you. Great job teaching and beautiful art.
Thank you so much!

What water pencils do you use?
I use Faber-Castell’s Albrecht Durer watercolour pencils. I also have a few pencils from buying project packs from Zentangle, inc.
