A replica of a American 2-4-2T known as Lynton & Barnstaple No. 762 “Lyn” (Original: Built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1898, Replica: Built by the L&B Trust between 2009 and 2017).
really was a superb day indeed. Despite the constant changing weather conditions. Lyn is just stunning! The team involved have done an amazing job with her. Spotted myself a few time in your video too. Great work and thanks for sharing!
An excellent video capturing this amazing new loco's beauty and effortless power. Being 4000 miles away in the middle of America it's wonderful to be able to "be there". Thank you to all who contributed in whatever way to make this part of THE dream come true. Excellent video. Nice close-ups of LYN. What is the background music? It complements the video perfectly (for me anyway).
This was just fantastic beautiful loco's and breath taking scenery too and there was one shot you took that i have to ask was it snowing i swear i so snow flakes but anyway i loved this video and i also loved the litttle trains in there too

It was an amazing day. So glad o made it, and avoided getting in your shots 😀
It's one of the nicest railways I've done so far. :)

Music in the video is called Crescent, one of the built in iPhone music bits by Rob Simonsen. :)
Bovine_of_the_Rails
Thanks for the enlightenment. It's the same genre as "Explosions in the Sky"'s music. Love it!
Somewhere hidden deep inside is a very modest contribution. The Yorkshire phrase runs, so I understand * many a mickle makes a mickle*.Long live steam!
I hope one day we can see the line back to its full glory
What a beautiful train
Thanks for the info Bovine_of _the_rails, nice video too.
Narrow guage steam with period coaches. Railway perfection.

It had begun to shower with some light drizzle a little. :)
When will the FR make a deal to hand over LYD to L&B and put Mountaineer back on the line?
Where will LYN reside?
She lives at the L&B Railway , Woody Bay engine shed. :)
