Not quite the Goodnight- Loving cattle drive, but one hell of a long day. More city folk should see things like this so that they can appreciate some of the work that goes into putting that burger into the "KING." If we didn't have ranchers & farmers, this country would be in one hell of a fix.
Why do you need a new pickup with all the bells and whistles. Nobody but elite can afford a new pickup these days. The cattleman is hurting but so is everyone else. I notice most cattleman on this channel do own late model pick-ups. I'd change places with you in a heartbeat.

finally UA-cam recommended me what I wanted. I live in Russia, but all my life I dream of living on a farm with horses. these red barns have sunk into my soul since childhood. amazing video! thank you for making my day
@@LifeintheWest in fact, there are farms in Russia, but they are not so popularized. there are also many animals on them. I think there are even farms with very large territories where there are a lot of cows, sheep and so on. There are also shepherds who graze animals on horses if there is enough money to buy it. But it is the cult of the "cowboy" that does not exist in Russia. I hope the translator will convey my words correctly. but in Russia now there are more and more young people who buy inexpensive houses in the countryside in villages and farm. because the eternal turmoil in the city is tired.

Thank you, brings back memories for me. My worse day was 110 deg F, but each of us had 2 horses. When the horse sniffed your sardines, it reminded me of a friend, he set his lunch down, turned away for a moment, when he turned back his horse had eaten his lunch.
Great drive. Brings back many memories. I always took another horse for those long days, specially when we were going to the mountains. Calabar is a goodun. Congratulations on the subs. Another great video, Thanks Trinity. I have been eating sardines for years, I have them on saltine crakers. I get them in oil, I think they're healthier than the ones in water.
I always learn something from your videos! Please keep them coming. Would you explain how beef subsidies work? If there are even such subsidies. I don't really understand the how and why of subsidies. Thank you.
Scott here from the video. Over the years there has been aid for specific events such as bad winter storms, drought, etc. However, there are no subsidies like there are for farms.

Trinity, you ticketed my funny bone when you were trying to give away those sardines ! I'm not sure anyone should have opened a can of sardines on a cattle drive in Grizzley country. LOL
Just to speak to the public land vs. private land management it is truly a joke how badly managed public land is. Just from a hunting perspective the block management areas here in Montana (private ground with publicly leased hunting rights) are almost always better game wise as well as getting around. Most public land forests around where I am is nothing but fallen timber, even on established trails. People love to say nature will sort it self out and it used to when wild fires went unchecked, millions of bison existed, etc. That's not the world we live in anymore. For land to be productive it needs to be managed.
