Sorry that I did not go over the numbers in this video. It's not the best strategy to talk about numbers/profit BEFORE selling the house. I have partners and investors that I must protect first, no matter how transparent I want to be with you guys. I will do a video on the numbers after it's sold. I will tell you that we bought the house for $51,000 and we are going to list it for $245,000. I hope that you enjoyed the video!
Housing prices in America are wild. You couldn’t buy a double wide (even with poo floors) for $50,000 in Ontario. The redone house would sell for $600,000 where I am.
@@emilymarguerita2781 in many places in america this home would be $500,000 to 1 million plus. I didn't even know that it was that cheap in West Virginia, he bought the house for $51,000 that's insanely cheap. Could also be that area in West Virginia, just because it's a beautiful home doesn't mean it's in a good area or it just might be that the prices in West Virginia are that low in general. There's many places in Canada with very low prices also as I've looked into it, many of us Americans have been moving to Canada.
In my town which is a small town but high real estate cost. This house would go for $700,000-$1.3M My neighbors got their 2 bedroom 1 bath probably 1k sq ft house for $210k.
It's hard to believe people have homes that were in the shape this was in. What an amazing transformation. Looks GREAT! I love the gray, white with black doors. Very tastefully done.
Looks stunning, only thing that concerned me was lack of handrail/guard on the left side of the basement stairs facing up. I’d personally put a guard. Everything else I loved.
Wonderful job bringing this house into the modern era! So sad that someone would trash such a big, nice home with utter filth. Everyone becomes an "attorney" when they're squatting. Tfs!
Right when the video started I thought "this location looks kinda familiar, like possibly a neighborhood from my old hometown"...then when you were talking to the deer & mentioned WV I was like 😳 Looks like a neighborhood close to a cemetery off of Rt 2, close to The Hill House. ☺ Off to your IG page to see if I can glean more information. Great job BTW! My heart aches for the poor animals that lived there, SO hope they have a new family. 🙏🏼 and the neighbors are probably beyond grateful to you.
Hooked all the way. Read comments and I had same thought on rails for those stairs. Not a fan of black doors. I freak out with the before pics. What vision you have to have! Thanks for sharing.
Single vanity with more counter space every time!!! I just helped a flipper and saved him tons convincing him to stop doing double vanities every time and he has not heard one complaint. In fact the opposite, most say they love all the counter space. I also convinced him to make the grays he used a warmer gray so they dont feel so cold. (love the black doors with gray and white) Wow thats a lot of pendents in the kitchen! (as a designer i think putting two over the peninsula/ island area or a single in the middle with flush can style lights for the rest would be cheaper and make more of an impact. Love watching what others are doing over the whole country. Keep up the good work.
8+ for the kitchen it looks beautiful love how the patio door onto the patio beautifully done love the tile and the color and all the appliances everything beautifully done
I have to compliment you on your format for the video! I love how you went thru the house the same way as the beginning and had the little video on the side of the before video so we can see the difference. You should do this for all your flips. I am in the process of finishing my first flip and putting it in the market.
Where do you guys live? State? I wouldn’t feel comfortable without a fence...but then again the homeowner can front that extra expense. Looks great. That patio area makes a huge difference.
Without even watching the video I can tell you all did an amazing job. I LOVE the before and after side-by-side video. It put the work you’ve done into perspective. So dope. You should start a mentor program for newbies like me🙂
Hello Crown. Thanks for watching! I do offer consulting when my schedule allows. Email me at jonschoeller@gmail.com if you are interested. Have a great day!
Wow!!! This looks amazing 😃My only suggestion would be to do something about the garage floor and the exterior car entrance. It would elevate the result of the renovation 💖
Great job overall, but I think the grey paint outside was a mistake. It’s trendy so it will need to be repainted, and it doesn’t match the wood of the stairs. The light fixtures in the kitchen were also,,, a lot. Not sure about the black doors; they seem like they’re hit or miss depending on the room.
Wow - what a flip! Looks amazing! Love the black and white and REALLY love the grey paint on the outside! Also, definitely agree on the double sink being a must. Kitchen looks great - it ALL looks great!
Great job! Consistent & cohesive. Really liked that you held out for a double vanity in the master. It's important to buyers to have a double vanity in any bathroom that it's possible to squeeze in because families get ready to go all at once. If there is only one sink, delays and scheduling issues...who gets the bathroom first is a fight with kids and teenagers. Happy families exist where there are enough bedrooms and bathrooms.
When you showed that bar area i was thinking, “pull that out and make it a game room” then turn the corner and bam! Pool table. Wish I could find a place like that in my area.
So far this is the best looking house you’ve done that I’ve seen that there isn’t more I just haven’t seen them I love everything about it except I wouldn’t buy it because I’m old and I wouldn’t want to go up and down all those steps to the front door but square footage it’s nice a lot of seem nice everything look beautiful after you rehabbed it
Looks good! I just don’t know if I’d want a deck that big opening up to a wall. I’d prefer a view. Stain the stairs/banister and deck and you’ll be good.
Jon, That downstairs would make an awesome in-law suite. (Add white handrails for us old-timers.) All on one level, nothing to encourage falls. Or even a rental unit. Add a white one wall kitchenette in the great room or where the bar is - sober is better. Either in-laws or renter would be all set.
The doe walking around outside is soo cool! Yall did a beautiful job on remodeling this home! That same house for sale in Houston Texas would cost someone at least $375,000 or maybe more!
Wow amazing job!! Very bright and airy, lots of great natural light. Only things I saw was the rail on the stairs missing, I would put some sound barrier on the window in the master, and the number of lights hung in ther kitchen was a bit much. They're beautiful but some pot lights would have been a better choice in the open areas.
Holy poop! You guys did a great job on this flip! I really like the gray, white and black color scheme. Double sinks are a must in a master suit. Awesome house!
I think with the grey and the black/white doors you might loose some byers just because of he blue hue, Its perceived cold and therefore a bit unwelcoming. Its good colors and looks cool, especially the contrast in the doors give the house a pop as you say but for a family home I think it could have used some warmth, just something to contrast the cold. It feels more bachelor than family if you get what I mean.
Awesome Flip, only a little bit above 200,000!! sheeshhhhhhh!!! talk about a good deal! Love the black doors, white doors get dirty so easily with kids.
All right, I’ll subscribe. This is interesting, good information, and you’re vegan. I’m into it. I would like to see more of the process of these flips.
I prefer a single vanity because there aren’t many times both of us need to wash our hands or brush our teeth at the same time, so having a single vanity adds more counter space
This home is absolutely stunning !!! All the sliding glass doors and high ceilings bring in a ton of light which does well with the grey and black theme 😍
dang a house that nice for 235,000 would be realllly nice especially with how much space it has. we live in georgia and it’s taken us since november to find one due to a sellers market 270,000$ for a house not even half as nice as this
I would have added a railing to the left side of the staircase so people with families won’t have to worry about their kids falling while on the stairs.
I still say I think I better see the white doors but everything looks beautiful I love the white trim I love the beautiful gray walls flooring looks beautiful the garage is finished off like a room not like a garage A+
Black exterior doors are fine (even in the garage), but the first thing I'd do with that house is to re-paint all the interior doors to match the trim. Hallway too dark? Blame the black doors. On the other hand, everything else is first rate. Love the recessed lights over the bar (and everywhere else they had fluorescent tube lights). Love the French doors. Love the price!
I love the back deck off the house that was the selling point for me and those Beautiful sliding doors going out to the patio it was beautiful and that was an A+ I thought

Whoever buys this house is getting a hell of a deal.
Whoa the state of the house before makes me wonder about the previous owners. I don’t know how they could live like that.
Agreed
That barn door on the bathroom vanity was a really cool touch and made sense!
Thanks for watching!
Looks good. Like the floors.
Add pressure washing the driveway to the list. 👍
Man! $51,000! That's incredible! The bones of this house are so solid!
It's hard to believe people have homes that were in the shape this was in. What an amazing transformation. Looks GREAT! I love the gray, white with black doors. Very tastefully done.
i noticed the WV chairs at the bar. that’s where i live!!
Looks stunning, only thing that concerned me was lack of handrail/guard on the left side of the basement stairs facing up. I’d personally put a guard. Everything else I loved.
Good point! I'm sure the inspector will get us on that one 😥
Finding an extra 800 sq ft is like hitting the lotto! Nice job, beautiful home.
We were pleasantly surprised lol
This house turned out incredible. I like the style and layout of the actual house, but the renovations you guys did to it go perfectly. Great job.
Thank you Connor!!
people also gotta remember, this is in West Virginia. this exact same property and house in any other state would be much much higher
Wonderful job bringing this house into the modern era! So sad that someone would trash such a big, nice home with utter filth. Everyone becomes an "attorney" when they're squatting. Tfs!
Quartz is a good way to go for counter tops too. Not as pricey but good quality and durable. Looks nice too.
Awesome job, you have to be proud of this transorfation!
I love the Style of this House , it has such Character. Not just a regular box House ! It looks Great !!
LOVE the kitchen 🥰
Let me guess, you want to live in this one too? 😂

But after watching some of your other videos, I think I was in the correct state (WV) but wrong town. (This kinda reminded me of P-burg)
Brooooooooo love the deer shot. I'm Vegan, too!
Nice!! 🌱 power

Double sink in the master. House is beautiful, different.
Amazing... only the wood features outside need to be darker wood.
Gorgeous!
Powerwash the driveway would really make it pop more.

I like how you kept the defined spaces.... excellent rehab
I'm not keen on the multiple hanging lights in the kitchen. Pot lights would be better with one central pendant.

It looks great! I usually tend to prefer a more feminine design but I'd totally go for this look.

The light fixtures in the kitchen were also,,, a lot. Not sure about the black doors; they seem like they’re hit or miss depending on the room.
I actually enjoyed the little bit of gold around the stove just a small warm accent against the cool.
Agree. The black and white and grey is nice, but so much of it got a little boring so the gold is a really nice touch.
Wow - what a flip! Looks amazing! Love the black and white and REALLY love the grey paint on the outside! Also, definitely agree on the double sink being a must. Kitchen looks great - it ALL looks great!

Great! Love the bar right inside, party goers can spill out into the garage. Oh, the poor animal left in that room.
The decking and railings are great but they look really unfinished to me in the raw wood, i'd have at least had the railings painted...

Beautiful home! 😍

Love all the gray! So beautiful! I'm so sorry for the pets. Were they left behind? I hope they're alright.
This really turned out well...love the color scheme... what black paint is that on the doors? Sherwin Williams? Valspar?
Sherwin

That in itself is a selling piece on how quiet and peaceful this place is .. just nice

i like the black door white trim gray walls that looks really good id love to live there

This my fav renovation show. You two are great and so cute together.
I want this home!! Love the attention to small details. Gray is my color too

What was the story I wonder? Was the human incapable of opening the door????
Doggie Days LAZY!
I'm wondering if they didn't abandon the pets. Breaks my heart.
The inlet in the master both, LOVE that. Great tile work. Congrats on such an awesome flip y'all

Agreeable grey and/or mindful grey

Hey quick question? who did you consult with to get the pool table room painted and can lighted and fixed up. Im trying to fix my parents old house...
absolutely GREAT redo!
Double vanity is convenient. It cuts time management for the morning operations and effectiveness in communication in couples or friends.
Great job ,Stunning house . I can’t believe how cheap you are selling it , our homes are small and so expensive compared to this
Great job! Laughed so hard when you said “I’m going to try to not say new a lot” then you proceeded to say “new” like 10 times in that minute.
🤣🤣...oops
Gorgeous!!!
That’s a whole lot of beautiful house for 200,000
I live in Chicago and 200k gets you the lot
I live in Edmonton, Alberta and 200k won't get you an empty half lot
I live in Honolulu in a 1930 house on 4700 square feet and the tax appraisal in $950,000.
Looks like a brand new house. Beautiful job and great taste as well in materials and colors.
REALLY well done. It's really beautiful!
just make sure your guys put gfci receptacles in areas where there is water present if its within 6ft need to be protected by gfci per code

Love the kitchen a lot of turned out beautiful the glass tiles for the back was beautiful with the granite
Ring sizes seem like they’re all pretty nice you did a great job remodeling everything
Good to know my family wasn’t the only one who put a piece of wood in the sliding glass doors 😂
we were locking our glass doors that way in 1980. cheap and effective.
Same here 😂😊
I still say I think I better see the white doors but everything looks beautiful I love the white trim I love the beautiful gray walls flooring looks beautiful the garage is finished off like a room not like a garage A+
Unbelievably beautiful. The best one yet! If I lived in WVA, I would definitely buy this. Great job!!
