- Enjoy this video tour of our Wyoming design built with 10 inch Swedish Cope logs. This Yellowstone Log Home is packed with details that are sure to delight.
The main floor includes a master bedroom, master bath, mud room, and laundry tucked into the rear portion of the design. The open kitchen, dining, and great room become the perfect space for family to gather and create timeless family cabin memories.
The 2nd floor includes an open loft, 2 private bedrooms, and 1 full bath. There is even a hidden play space for the kids that is accessed through a bedroom closet.
The basement level includes a large family room with space for a movie night, ping pong, or a game of pool. There are also 2 more bedrooms, 1 full bath, and a mechanical room.
The Ridge Crest edition of the Wyoming includes a log truss on the exterior over the main entry and includes the basement plan with 2 bedrooms and a living room. The standard Wyoming plan has a garage beneath. The other features of the home are similar to standard Wyoming Plan.
The total size of this home is just over 3,100 square feet. The main floor is 1,232 square feet. The loft level is 645 square feet. The basement level is 1,232 square feet. The floor plan of the Wyoming can be viewed on www.yellowstoneloghomes.com.
The stain used on the exterior is PPG's ProLuxe Cetol Log and Siding in the color Natural. Inside, the log walls are treated with Sashco's Colorfast as a base coat and topped with Symphony as the clear top coat.
First time I have seen carpeted floors in a log home. Wouldn't be my choice but whatever the customer pays for I guess. The rest of the home is beautiful.

Is there any chance that you have a walkthrough on the Little bear coming up? I’m between the Wyoming and Little bear. Very well put together home and video thank you!
I chose the Little Bear myself! Just got the plans a few weeks ago, will start construction in Spring of 2024. Lots to do before I build the cabin itself! Wyoming was my first choice, but a bit too large. I had to scale back just a tad...hehehe.
The video was hard to follow jumping around. A walk through with floor plan would be helpful.

How much would a house like that cost
surprisingly, the Log home kit is not the largest cost. I'm going to be building one myself next year from this Log Home Co. The kit itself is less than $100K, but the labor is another thing! With all the new building codes...probaby $300K in labor to build it.

Well, that was one particular families version. Some people like to have just a little drywall in some interior rooms like bathrooms to break up the overflow of wood everywhere. I frankly don't mind a little drywall on interior walls.

How much though?
I'm building the "Little Bear" floorplan next year myself! The kit itself surprisingly is not that expensive! Less than $100K for the kit, shipped to your property. Now getting someone to build it affordably is another story. It depends on which State you live in. I'm in California where Labor is insanely high!
Yellowstone is so beautiful I didn't see any closet with closet you know I didn't see no closets I didn't see no bathroom you know I'm but it's nice I like it but it's not nice
