Here's what I've been up to the last month, as you can imagine it's involved quite a bit of sketching outside, especially with the fine weather we've been having! Can't wait to share the conversation I had with Lisa Wisdom later in the month. And if you're interested in those Artgraf blocks I've been using you can find them here: amzn.to/3BzSZiM
If I ever gonna move to the UK I will settle down in Cornwall. How beautiful the part of the country is ❤ I’m in love. Thanks for this beautiful video ❤
I love the map you have designed! It was really interesting to hear your process and how you sketch at Godrevy cove. :) Every vlog you publish is so interesting and full of adventures! Thank you for bringing me to some of adventures too!
Thanks for sharing your beautiful videos Mel your beautiful sketches other artists artworks and conversations beautiful Cornwall landscapes/seascapes scenery that take my breath away I love Cornwall 💜
This is one of the most interesting videos I have ever seen. It had a little bit of everything in it. I have not been to the beach in over 30 years. The beaches where I live are quite dirty and loaded with people. The nearest beach is over 80 miles from where I live. It is in Galveston, Texas. Your beach is heavenly. The sound was mesmerizing. Looking forward to the vlog on the blacksmith artist. I know it will be very interesting. Thanks for taking us around the area. 🙂
Another lovely vlog Mel. I bet it smelled amazing at the lavender farm. I know Cornwall extremely well having been a frequent visitor for 50 years but you’ve shown me some places I’ve never been before on the Lizard. I’m already planning a visit. Looking forward to your next Creative Conversation. Thank you 😊
I love your map of the farm Mel. It looks beautifully clear, reading maps like this is something I usually have trouble with!🙈 I love it when you show the Lizard because my daughter works on the Lizard surveying the plants and insects. Your workshop looks lovely, I’m sure you had the beautiful lavender fragrance around you all while painting!💜
Over the top with all things lovely! The landscape is gorgeous and you captured it well. I'm so pleased you brought us along. Almost forgot to say what a delightful map you created for the farm
The Tregullas farm project looks fantastic! I bet they're very happy with your beautiful work. Thanks for another great video, showing us so much of Cornish land and sea scapes💕
Another absolutely lovely video! Thank you! 🤗 Your wonderful work for the maps and signs looks so fun 👍. Kriksis is so cute trying to hide behind her food! 😆. Fantastic location sketches, as well. About how long do you typically like to spend on a location sketch in your larger sketchbook?
I loved watching this. It’s so interesting and inspiring. I wish I can attend one of your workshops. Do you ever think you’ll have a workshop online? Other than the domestica one?

That old tree looked like a Cedar of Lebanon, I am right?
Yes I think you are right! A beautiful old, majestic tree.
I almost feel like I’ve been on a trip watching this….
