To even conflate the buying of a boat with value these days is ridiculous, boat prices in the new and used market are outrageous. Not on are the prices inflated, but you still have the high interest rates. I personally dont buy Skeeter because the quality of their boats is just not what it use to be, but I stay pay attention to what they are doing. Anyone buying a brand new boat, no matter how much money they have is crazy in my opinion. I usually buy a new boat every 2 or 3 years, but with these prices and interest rates; it looks like my current Phoenix 920 Elite is going to be with me for a while. Im not mad though, these Phoenix are great boats and they are putting out some of the best quality in the industry.
BUYER"s BEWARE!!! I purchased a brand new 2023 ZX200 this year. What a HUGE mistake that was. Here are my reason's...Skeeter Customer service personnel not even worth calling. I will give them a 1 star. Skeeter dealership's just don't care to do warranty work, poor workmanship on the seats, water leaks in the hull, coming in through the through all fittings, LiveWell fittings cracked and/or leaking, electrical wiring connections poor, not even waterproof connectors, quality of fiberglass was not completely buffed and polished, had my Yamaha engine in the shop 3 times, before the engine seized up. Been waiting for 3 months for Yamaha to cover it under warranty. Theses are some of things you will find out after a couple of months. Skeeter says they been in business for 75 years, my question is "HOW" were they able to stay in business that long.
Skeeter kept telling me to take it into the closet Skeeter dealership to my residence. I took it to a total of 3 different Skeeter dealerships within 100 miles and all of them never solved the issues completely or fixed it half a??. I decided to have a very good friend that has been in the boating world to help me out. My friend traveled in from Tennesse. He and I went through the whole boat and fixed all the issues. Yamaha finally agreed to replace the engine after almost 4 months. Would I recommend buying a new Skeeter, my answer is H??? no. My Skeeter was a brand-new boat when I purchased it.
@@notsogood6249 I'm glad you got everything resolved. It sucks that you had to go through that with a brand new boat! Thank you for your time. I'm gonna steer clear of Skeeter. I'll stick to my old Ranger.
@@411sponge72 Its funny that you said that you will keep your old Ranger. That's what I had before and wish I never traded it in on the Skeeter. Like my best friend that helped fix my Skeeter stated, "the boating companies just don't care anymore, because they have gotten greedy with the new prices their getting and there are no Lemon Laws on boats like automobiles".
I looked at the new skeeters , looked at the price , looked at all the boats , I have been a skeeter fan my entire life , but I can’t buy one , it’s not the money , it’s the quality, for the money , I’m not sold on the quality,, think I’m going to a different manufacturer ,

Who cares, you only live once. Might as well enjoy nice things in life while you're still able. I'll do the 20 year finance and not even bat an eye or have a care in the world about it. As long as I can afford the monthly payment, everything will be golden
Only live once brother. If buying this boat keeps you out of the bar then buy it. If you can make the payment you can afford it@@sheldon_neville_fishing3328
Great presentation and walkthrough of design details. Nice that you include the storage length as well.

112 lb thrust ultrex and you’re using 8 gauge wiring????? Is this Skeeter or Tracker.
Go back and listen. He said it was 8 gauge wiring at the graphs location. He didn't say anything about it being the trolling motor wiring.
its not 8 gauge going to the trolling motor
It’s tracker quality now days with skeeter unfortunately
The most important part……. The price?
If you ask the price you can't afford it

Price is one fiddy
All for the low, low price of $90k. Taxes, destination and paperwork fees extra. LOL. What a value.

Is you financed something like this for 20 years, that means you cannot afford it
