Wow, for a new content creator you really hit out of the ballpark with how good your mic and editing is. Some of my fav youtubers who I had been watching for years didn't always start off that way (they also cringe at their old work due to technical stuff lol). Here's my opinion on each, even though I am sure I probably haven't played all of them lol.
Hollow Knight- I bet you're hopping the sequel will come out soon hmm? Anyway, I think the technical term for this type of game is Metroidvania. Because it combines platform with nonlinear gameplay due to the game design. Only type of game I've played in this genre is Super Castlevania on SNES (yes I am showing my age here lol). Too hard for me and so I haven't played a game like it sense lol. Glad you enjoy it though.
Stardew Valley- I have this game and I love it too, only it wouldn't appear on my fav Switch Games since I got it on Steam lol. First Indie game I ever played. In my most recent playthrough, I finally got "Completion" on it, omg that was a pain to get. I don't ever plan on getting it again lol. Also, my main boy is Elliott, I always end up marrying him, he's so my type lol. Oh I see you've used Mods. I haven't used any Mods yet. Maybe I should give the mods a try at some point.
Breath of the Wild- Being the Zelda fan that I am, of course I got this game and I DO like it, but here's the surprising part, it's actually my least favorite of the Zelda games I've finished. 2 biggest factors are these- World is TOO big. I am a fan of linear gameplay. I don't mind exploration in a game, but I am not a huge fan of open worlds. I prefer when a game is more linear. 2nd thing is how your weapons are breakable. I really miss the more iconic weapons and items you can use in a game. It also became a hassle to gather ingredients to heal yourself. I miss the more simpler ways to heal yourself from fairy in a bottle to the different drinks throughout the franchise. Also, the lack of good dungeons. I did like the shrines and Beast dungeons, but yet. Still the gameplay was good enough for me to continue playing (unlike Skyward Sword the Wii version, I hated the motion controls and stopped playing the game by the time I reached the Ancient Cistern). I will say, BoTW's story is the best in the franchise for me personally thanks to the two leads of Zelda and Link (I think these are the best versions of them because how the game explores their relationship, and yeah I ship them like crazy lol). I do plan on getting Tears of the Kingdom for sure though, but with its price tag, it's going to be awhile. I also plan on replaying BoTW in prep for TotK. If your curious on what my fav Zelda game is, it's Twilight Princess and I got the Gamecube Version. It has my 2nd fav story, fav dungeons overall (ironically it has my least fav dungeon in the franchise lol), fav set of weapons, love the graphics, and it's pretty linear, which I enjoy.
AC: New Horizons- This was my first AC game and as much as I did enjoy it, I don't plan on getting another AC game in the future. 2 reasons- I feel like the game 'punishes you' for not playing it a lot and I didn't like the fact that the game was played in 'real time'. Everything else I enjoyed, but I played it every day and I felt I 'had to' and I don't want a game to make me feel that way so . . . . I deleted my entire island and haven't played it in 9 months, no regrets either, although it was extremely painful to delete something I pour so much time and effort it, I just felt it was better for my overall health since I was so addicted to it. Regardless, I do not regret playing this game and it was fun to plan events with a group of friends who I played this game with during 2020 and 2021.
Cult of the Lamb- Since I am into 'cozy games' now, of course I've heard of this game and it does look unique, but it's just not for me lol. Glad you love it though. There is also a game I do need to finish, but the pacing is so slow and I am not a huge fan of all of the gameplay, but it's Rune Factory 5. After the fast nature of Stardew Valley, this one feels like a snail when it comes to how long a day lasts and how much effort it takes to build relations with chars. I haven't even finished the main story. I do plan on getting back to it eventually.
As for my fav Switch games here's my list-
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe- Huge MK fan since the original MK for SNES so yeah.
Super Mario Odyssey- Not my fav Mario game (that right still belongs to Mario 64), but I do love it.
Spiritfarer- This game is just something else. I just replayed it again and it does a great job of combining simulation elements with exploration and farming, with a story that does hit you in the feels.
Luigi's Mansion 3- First LM game and I love it. So glad I finally got into this franchise. It has a lot of puzzle solving, which I really enjoy and the combat is a fun challenge.
Pokemon Snap- I always wanted to play the original, but never got the chance so I was going to get this game. Granted I haven't fully finished the main story yet (almost there), but I love when photography is included in a game and a whole game centered around that concept is so fun.
Here are games that I plan on getting (whether they are out or not)-
Kirby and the Forgotten Lands- I haven't played a Kirby game since it's NES days (not counting Super Smash Bros either lol) and I do want to play this game.
Story of Seasons: It's a Wonderful Life- Yeah I want to try at least one game from this franchise and so after hearing about the gameplay and story of this game I do want to go get it since as much as I love SDV, one complaint I have about that game is you don't really do anything with your kids, so I love the idea of a game where your char ages and you do raise a child.
Rain Code- I am a HUGE Danganronpa fan, so when I heard Kodaka and Spike Chunsoft were teaming up to make this game, I was already sold since I LOVE Kodaka's writing style. I hope he blows my mind with this mystery based game.
Tears of the Kingdom- Like I said I will get this game, but mostly for the story.
There is one more game I will be getting that is already out and I know it's going to get a Switch release, but I will probably get it on my PS4 because it'll probably play better since it's a PS5 game originally. Yeah it's Hogwarts Legacy. I am not a total Potterhead fan, but I am a casual fan who loves that universe. The game is not enough for me to get a PS5 yet (if Kingdom Hearts 4 is a PS5 exclusive then I'll get the console lol).

Omg. Thank you so much!!! I get Hollow Knight not being the easiest game, but I love it and you are correct, I cannot wait for Silksong. And this might surprise you, but I actually haven’t used mods on Stardew Valley. That’s just my farm. haha. But I want to! I saw a really cool farm the other day with waterfalls. As for Zelda, Breath of the Wild was my first Zelda game so I just didn’t have the same frame of reference of you. But I have a gamecube emulator so maybe I’ll try Twilight Princess! Cult of the Lamb is not for everyone and even sometimes, I almost felt uncomfortable by aspects of it… but it’s just so unique.
I love Super Mario Odyssey but my favorite Mario game is actually the OG Paper Mario. It just has a certain nostalgia to it for me. I finally finished Luigi’s Mansion 3 a few months ago. I’m embarrassed by how long it took me. haha And I have Spiritfarer but it’s taking me a bit to get into. I think playing Cult of the Lamb at the same time made me a bit tired of taking care of everyone. lol
I CANNOT WAIT FOR STORY OF SEASON: IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE. I love Pioneers of Olive Town so I’m stoked.
And I love Hogwarts Legacy. I’ve been playing it on my PC. It’s wild. I just got all of the unforgivable curses and it’s WILD.
Thank you for taking the time to watch my video and leave such a thoughtful comment!!

@@everydaylindsey Well if we want to talk about fav Mario game (from like the entire franchise) than I would say it's actually Super Paper Mario on the Wii because it combines platforming and RPG elements with an amazing story. Nintendo is actually the only console I'll get no matter what since I love so many games from it. Well, the only exception was Gameboy because I tried playing games on the original GB, but the screen was so small it hurt my eyes. I did get the 3DS finally because I wanted to play the remastered version of Zelda's Ocarina of Time on it (liked it, but gameplay wise it was easier to play on the 64 personally).
I have decided to recently only get certain games for my PC now because it's not built to play games with high graphics so I won't be getting Hogwarts Legacy on it. I am currently playing two other 'farming sim' games on Steam, Coral Island and My Time at Sandrock, but the lag is bad at times and I think it's due to my PC, so I just plan on sticking with Visual Novel type games (with still frames) and more 2D graphic games so the games run smooth. Like SDV plays great on my comp.

@@Zodia195 haha! I got a gameboy color when I was little and I was trying to play it the other day and I was like, HOW DID I PLAY THIS AS A CHILD?! Having no backlight is wild. And one of my friends made me play Paper Mario and The Thousand Year Door because he was convinced I’d love it more… but just I have so memories with playing paper Mario on N64… can’t compare.
And I only recently got a PC that could handle the graphics, otherwise, I would have been waiting until July to play Hogwarts Legacy on switch. So I get that
