Red, it's very very hard to freeze any alcohol. Back in the 70's I was aboard Naval ship above the Article Circle and my medical supplies were stored five decks below waterline, so it got real cold quickly but the alcohol never froze. All my med's were up in Sick Bay so they were warm. I can tell you we were cold. Doc Farley HM1
Thank you for finding all of the awesome deals for us, Jeff. ❤ I can hardly believe the prices on the Skil tools! Some of them are incredible. I guess I should say all of them, and not just some. I certainly hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and I pray 🙏 all of you have a blessed Christmas! I haven't seen many deals of the week the last few months because my tool budget is all used up for a while. It's just too tempting to buy something when I see the deals, and that wouldn't be good. Between medical bills and car and truck repairs, I'm living on the edge right now. Buying anything is risky. I wanted you to know I didn't abandon you. Please tell the family and pets I send my best wishes. Thank you. 😃😃😃😃❤❤❤❤
I have the $99 Skil 12V set from a few years ago. This $149 deal is super tempting, but right now, between my corded and cordless tools, I really don't need any more. Maybe I'll regret passing this up, but I doubt it. It's an incredible value if your needs aren't already covered, but if you're all set, buying more is just throwing away money. It adds up, if you buy every time you see a great bargain you don't need.
Small FYI: In early 2008, real MAPP gas production ended in North America and is no longer available. MAPP gas is a trademark name belonging to the Linde Group and previously belonged to the Dow Chemical Company for a stabilized mixture of methylacetylene and propadiene. The available products still labeled “MAPP” are in fact lackluster substitutes made mostly from propylene and a miniscule amount of propane. They still use the MAPP name for marketing purposes only. Many believe the yellow bottles are still the hotter burning gas of the past but unfortunately they are not.
pulled the trigger on the skil 12 v combo pack thanks Dude 156 with tax ..good deal.. Update..Lowes screwed me! On the 12v skil combo pack.. Canceled my order I placed last night but it's NOW available for 199.00 wtfudge
The lights you wear like gloves are a great product. My grandson bought me some for my birthday last year and they are awesome. I was Leary at first but when I tried them, yes they are great.
Great video!!! Man, you've grown HUGE since the last time I watched a DoT video! I was trying to score an SDS for cheap. The corded one doesn't look bad. Definitely eyeballing that sous vide cooker too... as a "gift for my wife" 😉😂
FYI, the Skil table saw you list is NOT the same table saw as the one you normally show minus the stand. The one you showed this week (without the stand) is an 8-1/4" blade, not the 10" with the stand. The smaller saw also has less rip capacity and doesn't appear to take a dado stack.
30:54, In my experience those cheaper ones like these don’t hold up, Vessel makes a three pack that are built like a tank albeit at 3x the cost. I know impact bits aren’t the most expensive thing in the world but there’s are few things as annoying as being on top of a ladder or on the other side of the job site and realizing the bit you need fell out of your bit holders.
That exact of Irwin pliers are normal price $24.98 at Lowe’s. Amazon sure jacked up the price to make them seem like they are on sale. I like asking Rufus what the price history is to see if the “deal” is actually a deal or not.
The Skil table saw you showed is the 8-1/4" version, which doesn't come with built in legs. The 10" version is the one that you're thinking about that comes with the legs. So even with a $50 coupon off of its normal $250 price for the 8-1/4" version I don't think that deal is all that good. Wait for the 10" version to drop down to $269 or below and that makes a really good deal because its max depth of cut at 90 degrees is 3-1/2" which is deeper than most of the portable table saws including the DeWalt.
Magnetic wristbands are definitely niche, but I like mine for holding staples as I remove them, and sometimes for holding screws when I'm working on a ladder. Little better than digging them out of my pockets, heh.
Some of those GearWrench mechanic sets apparently have different sockets than the usual double line/knurled ring GearWrench is known for differentiating the SAE/metric versions. They appear to be SATA (Apex produced?) and have a 'W' added to the part number. The finish is inferior. Other sets have the regular GearWrench sockets. Still not a bad deal or bad tools - but a better deal if it has the regular GearWrench sockets with the double line/knurled ring and better quality finish.
I just got the Viking jump starter 2000a I went out and tried it on my truck that has a verified dead battery for like the last 3yrs it's been sitting lol it cranked that thing up with no hesitation I should have got this thing sooner
Skil table saw is 8-1/4 blade instead of the 10" model that has the stand. Still looks good and I'd assume that's their model to compare with the DeWalt 8-1/4. I like it but I'll spend the money and get the 10" model with the stand.
I have the skil table saw with stand for 249$. It has feet for use folded up as well, and then you have the stand when you need it. It was nuts purchased last week, so the deal is gone on this one already really
The verify survival gear set, that knife in the middle there is the one I carry that Harbor freight sells. Looks identical. It's a little on the bulky and heavy side, but with the seat belt cutter in the glass breaker, I think it's worth it.
That hoto laser measuring tool discount went away real quick. Only 10% now and UA-cam says your video is only 9 hours old. 25% I need one, 10% I don't. Lol
My wife got those glove lights for my birthday. I took them oudt of the box and put them on to please her. They have sat on the kitchen table ever since. Don’t reccomend
I may have missed if you told us but did you know they are getting rid of the 2 year inside track renew😢 they said you can buy as many years as you want before January 1
The work pro knife is not as good as their previous model. Stainless steel and was thinner. Much better in the pocket. I bought many of both types and these are nowhere as good.
Bear, did you hear about the jump pack in a guy's truck in Boise that caught on fire his kids got burned happened recently. I would love to know the name brand of the jump pack. Cheers, Rich from Idaho.
That was a horrific thing. That poor little 2 year old. My condolences to the family, and I pray for a full and speedy recovery for the injured. I suspect the jump pack was left attached to the battery after starting the truck. Some are protected from that, but many are not (and their instructions almost always tell you to disconnect immediately). In any case that protection can fail and without protection it is like charging a LiPo with however many amps the alternator can shove into it. (Most of these lithium jump start packs are functionally equivalent to 3s or 4s LiPos used in hobby drones and etc.) Be careful out there.
I'm not commenting specifically on Gimfoom, but I own several brands. If you think it's any different in quality from a dozen other brands, you'd be wrong. Not everyone buys the right size/price, not everyone charges/uses it right, not everyone even tries it out when new to return a lemon. Then they give it 1 star because they went past the return period before trying it. Stuff fails a lot when new, once you're past that you're usually good to go. It's true of everything mechanical or electronic. People are also way more prone to do a review when they're pissed off, than when it works fine, they throw it in their trunk, and forget about it until they need it.
@@EfficientRVer Well aware of how branding and quality works and you're not telling me anything new. Why push crap just to make a few dollars? Cuz if you push enuff crap, it pays off.
