Upgrading the handlebars on my Vsett 10+ smoothed out the speed wobbles for me too. It's a much cheaper and faster fix than doing the steering damper for sure.

you and your subway lol, enjoy the ride videos though, got a hover-1 pioneer on sale for like $99 at Walmart, can't imagine spending over 2k on a scooter. Definitely looks fun as heck though!
wow! good deal on the pioneer, ive ridden one! good little commuter scoots for sure. And you say you couldnt imagine it now, haha! give it a while man. @@TheRealElectricOutdoors for sure bro, subscribed! Got one question though, I was considering buying this scooter in the near future to use in place of my car, but I was always worried about theft. How you lock up this bad boy when you go grocery shopping, go in a shop, or anywhere that would require you to be away for 30 minutes to a few hours. I heard of the Kryptonite locks, but shit any angle grinder could beat anything. You got like insurance, or how do you take care of this puppy? I keep my pioneer in my trunk.
@@waleedabdulrab8779 I do not have insurance. Locking it up is always a gamble because your right any cheap 12v grinder will ruin even a 200$ chain. My thing is I usually am not gone enough to lock it up super well, Or dude- I just roll the fucker right into the stores. Lol I tell them what’s the difference between a carriage or a baby carriage? But yeah. Always lock it in public in front of as many people you can and in front of cameras. I would install a tracking system if you live in a really bad area. But yeah. Always a gamble:
To check the life left on your pads you can pull out the clip from the caliper, it looks like a hairpin, and then the pads are on a metal clip. Pull them out and inspect them, Or if you notice that the hydraulic levers are almost touching the bars, or your putting significantly more force now than your used to on them to stop, then your pads are trash. Generally for an average ride style and average weight (I’d say my style is a bit aggressive and I’m 130lbs) Pads should last about 500-750 miles and be checked absolutely every 100 or so miles. Hope it helps! These use zoom brake pads btw
I'm planning to get one soon. I wish it could go over 50 outside of sport mode but it's true that you're not going to be riding at that speed in the city all the time. It's a nice to have type of thing i would say for something like an e-scooter. But it's useful on some streets where you need the speed. 2 mins of extra speed is quite good. I do want to get out more now that's it's the summer and this is perfect. What app are you using for your speedometer?
@@TheRealElectricOutdoors Thank you. I've seeing people use all sorts of speedometer and i am still looking for a good one or what pev users are using most.
Sir, you mention in several UA-cam videos of yours to replace the front shock bolts, how difficult is it to replace and what size bolts do you have on your Vsett 10+ ? Really enjoying your video’s while riding in your state of Massachusetts. I’m in the process of replacing my handlebars with one piece handlebars to help prevent speed wobble at speeds above 30 mph.. hope your shoulder is getting better, safe travels while riding the Vsett 10+, Rickey Austin Texas
Just bought the 9+ already to upgrade to the 10+ but going to wait for spring though. The 9 pulls like crazy just want a little more top end. Hey you gotta a link for the phone mount?
Hey brother! In my newest video actually I did a 500 mile review on the 10+ and I have all the links to the items (including the bars and phone mount) that I use!!! Check it out! Subscribe!
I’m still using the standard same shock. I only weigh 130lbs and see no need to get a tighter one- I can see why heavier people might want to though. It’s unfortunate they used a nice hydraulic shock in the rear and a regular air shock in the front
The only modifications I have done is set the P settings to the point where it shows the true speed of the scooter ( it comes a bit exaggerated out of the box) I’ve changed the folding handle bars to solid aluminum 740mm mtb handlebars, I’ve removed the directional from the ergonomic grips as I cannot stand that style of grips and put rubbery lock ring mountain bike grips on, as for the directional I taped them with yellow electrical tape onto the bars to the left and right of each grip and they still work great. I’ve taken the tires off and added liners in between the tubes. I’ve put a 12mm long bolt instead of 10 inside the front barrel shock as my 10 fell out- and there’s plenty of thread left for a longer one. I plan to bleed my brakes and change my pads soon just because I feel they could be better.
I’m in Fall River Massachusetts brother, and yeah that shock bolt is serious stuff. I spoke to revrides about the m61x10mm bolt that fell out and they just told me that it’s two of those tiny little bolts holding… obviously the person hadn’t seen one before because I assured them in fact there is a long barrel bolt and then the tiniest m6 bolt holding it all together.. not two of them. Not only that- the threads inside the barrel bolt holding the shock are about 18mm deep not 10- not sure why vsett used such a small bolt to hold that assembly together. I’ll be making a full vsett review soon, still getting used to cameras lol xD thanks for watching man
@@TheRealElectricOutdoors yeah that tiny bolt could cause a serious accident or the stability is not there.. ok bro i will wait for your full review stay safe.

Bro it was so bad 🤦 plastic bottle btw. And I hit it just right too.
the geese on that bike trail is way more dangerous and unpredictable. I had one walk in front of me when I was on my board. That would have been a bad hit. I always slow it down when I'm around those guys.
