I love the rod run , I wish there were more people showcasing their cars that they’re proud of instead of the majority being for sale. Last fall we were down there in the week between the rod run and shades of the past. We got a full week of cars. Thanks for including the sounds of the cars events. Makes me feel like I’m there.

I have a 4 speed 69 Impala with a 454. I cant even begin to tell you how much fun it is to cruise in. Its cost way more money than I would ever admit even though I had two mechanics look at it before I bought it. But there is nothing better than driving a real car. To feel it under my hands, the power, the noise, the pleasure it brings. Its so much fun. Lets Ride!!!

I know what you are saying, I have a ‘69 Charger, it is as new as it possibly can be. I have a folder of receipts that have never been added up. It is a lot of fun to cruise in, there is nothing that can beat the nostalgia and pride of driving an old car from my younger days!

Fantastic, Sam, and thank you. I like the high profile, big buck collectibles as much as the next classic car nut but I'm a huge fan of the sleeper, everyday collectibles like this Nova wagon gem 41:15 - sweet. Or how about a '62 Impala sedan 44:30 w/ 4 doors and a column shift. Nothing wrong with that. In fact, these are the ones that always get my attention.
