Awesome. I loved my Lanard figures growing up
They always worked as a random Merc faction...
Ranked up there with The Bad Guys as chumps to shoot at, if you didn't have enough Cobra guys.
I used these guys as a Rebel Soviet faction, and had them taking over Joe bases and Cobra strongholds...
Tactics: Does not understand tactics. 🤣🤣🤣

Awesome! I Was looking for something like this, and its recent as the time of this comment! It would of cool to see all of their accessories alongside the figure on the rotation base for completion reference.
But better than nothing, happy you put this together!

This was great bro, and I learned a lot about wave 1 today! I collect the 90’s Corps figures already but now I’m going after the 80’s waves. Great video! 🙌🏻

I vividly remember these somewhat pegwarming when they came out but I eventually snagged them to augment my Joe and cobra forces. It seems like they hung around for YEARS (or they would be steadily restocked not sure). They were cool. Many could easily suffer “broken thumb syndrome”. Fairly sure I still have some (tanner, whispering Willie, and shark I believe with a couple of more)
Yeah the weapon handles are probably molded too wide for most of the figures, so it took me a bit to find really nice examples
@@Mvargo97 I dint doubt. At that point in my collecting I was careful and still broke some.

I actually had ALL of the Lanard figures from the 80's, Even the space figures and the later released 4" girl figures. I really loved the look and the price.

I’ve just managed to get a boxed wolf pack tank from 86 well chuffed, I don’t see many boxed vintage corps vehicles
Yeah vintage boxed vehicles are incredibly rare. The tank is an awesome vehicle though
Interesting to have a couple of references to South Africa (I'm South African btw).
That was one of the things that I enjoyed about the line was that the characters all came from different places
Some of these backgrounds sound like the gi joe ones but slightly more grounded.

Had a bunch of these. K-Mart Joes I called them. As a kid I didn't care, they looked fine with Joes and they were dirt cheap.
Mine always integrated into playtime. When you can get 3 for the price of one Joe it was hard to pass up sometimes.
We all know Bengala was an Osama action figure....it was the 80s he was a good guy back then remember? Lol
I had very few Joes but I had craploads of these.
