Storyline
A woman faces problems when she insists on marrying the man she loves.
Saranga lives a wealthy lifestyle in Ambavati along with her father, Nagar Seth, and step-mother, Nagar Sethani, and she in love and wants to marry Rajkumar Sadabaksh. She is unhappy when told that her marriage has already been arranged with Sethani's brother, Gyanchand. Initially Nagar opposes this alliance, but changes his mind after Sethani threatens to kill herself. He then goes to the Raja and gets him to promise that he will forbid his son from seeing Saranga. Watch what reaction this promise has on Sadabaksh and on Saranga herself. Written by rAjOo
Jayshree Gadkar :-
(21 February 1942 - 29 August 2008) was a noted Marathi and Hindi movie actress and a star of Marathi cinema from the 1950s up to the 1980s.
She began her career as a child dance artist. She entered films as a tamasha dancer in movies. Her first role was that of a group dancer in V. Shantaram's Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baaje in 1955 which featured Sandhya as the leading lady. Later, well known Marathi film Director Dinkar D patil cast her in a small role with dance in his Marathi film "Disat Tasa Nasat" opposite Raja Gosavi. This was followed by Sangtye Aika, a tamasha-based movie which was the first in which she played a leading role. This helped her gain fame and recognition and she started doing heroine roles. She eventually became one of the most successful and prolific heroines in the history of the Marathi film industry.
Jayshree acted in about 250 films over a period of four decades. Her filmography was varied and included a rich repertoire of tamasha stories as also mythological in addition to socials and love stories. Her films include:
In later years, Jayashree turned film director. Her directorial efforts include Saasar Maher and Ashi Asavi Saasu. She also acted in Ramanand Sagar's TV Series Ramayana as Kaushalya (mother of Rama) along with her husband Bal Dhuri, who was Dasharath (father of Rama). Her home is adorned with the photo of both in Ramayana costume. Her Autobiography Ashi Me Jayshree published in 1986

जब मैं नवीं क्लास का छात्र था तब हमें विज्ञान पढाने वाले गुरू जी ने कहा कि आज मेरा मन सही नहीं है ।सभी शान्त होकर बैठे रहें ।फिर मेरे को इशारे से अपने पास बुलाया और कहा कि आगे भी कभी मैं तुम्हें बुलाऊं तो आकर एक गाना सुना कर वापस अपनी जगह बैठ जाना ।बस गाना बार बार यही गाना है ।आज इस गाने को सुन कर गुरू जी की याद आ गई ।यही वो गाना था ।स॔योग देखिए कि गीत कार भी मेरे ही शहर के हैं ।
