I definitely pulled him with the intention to get the IRS team going. I feel like he'll fit in so well with his kit and lore even though I already have Gepard and Victory Lightcone.

Not to mention that, I think Topaz is very underrated for FUA teams. Her mark alone buffs everybody's FUA (including herself) by 50% & thats no small amount.

@@Don_Akane89The fuck you mean underrated? Topaz's ENTIRE kit revolves around follow-up attacks. She is one of the most prominent characters in FUA teams. Were you drunk when you wrote this?
@@ThorsShadow idk, things certainly have changed? Back when she was released, many people were saying she didn't have much utility, is just ok as a sub-dps, doesnt hit hard as a hypercarry & didn't have much value vs the meta support/hypercarry at the time & therefore wasn't worth pulling.
In fact, especially if we're talking about locally, I was among the only few who pulled for her in my region group back then. So here at least, shes certainly underlooked.

aventurine is an investment for me. if we ever get a harmony character that gives another 50% effect res just by existing or even a relic/orb-rope that gives effect res for the entire party, then that will be 100% res that will make you IMMUNE against CCs and DoTs. they will eventually have to add more characters that give effect res just by existing.

@@hanabiilesleynope. 100% effect res guarantees immunity against all debuffs. You are confused with major traces that gives an amount of resistance against debuff, like luocha's A6 trace

I play on Asia server, and he's out already! Lost a 50/50 but got him to E1 and then his lightcone. He's so much fun, too! A great sustain overall so that I don't have to worry about my hunt character hogging all their turns and Gepard not getting his ult for that. Now all I have to worry is Dan Heng hogging all the skill points.
Sparkle should fix that right?

14:12 The Trend LC would also be a good choice with Ratio Team, since his FUA needs debuffs on enemies
true but if your using pela/silver wolf you prolly dont need it, but with topaz the more debuffs the better

Brooo, almost 3/4 of my dps, or sub dps characters are follow up attackers 😭😭 (Includes Clara, JingYuan, Dr.Ratio, Herta, and Topaz) so he's been on my must pull list ever since I heard of his mechanics.
I'm proud to say that I got him e1 AND pulled his s1 lightcone, in under 50 pulls
I have the exact same Acheron team with Aventurine, Silver Wolf and Pela XD I'll have to try the IPC team once I get Topaz.
Funny that I got his 4 pc pioneer set ready while I was farming for Acheron set. Since I’m also getting his sig, he will be reliably proccing 4 pc pioneer set and will synergies well with my Acheron team. Also got his inert salsotto ready. To me, his shield is strong enough that it doesn’t hurt going for more damage!
I already lobed his design before I knew he was IPV member, I already loved Topaz design(she's my fav character) and I loved Ratio enough to get his lc when I wanted both Black Swan and Hanabi.. Aventurine is a must pull for me xD
Also from the leaks we got(leaks spoilers for Robin's kit) it seems like Robin is gonna be the fua harmony for quite a while, AND SHE SINGS USING ULT like that makes me wonder if this team was made just for me lmao
Wait for Jade who's a FUA buffer. Then you can have a Full IPC member team plus Aventurine's boyfriend

I have all the sustains, Fu Xuan, Luocha, Huo Huo Huo and so on but pulled for him anyways because he's just great. Lost his LC to -funny enough- Gepard LC but I should be getting the LC soon^^

I always bring Topaz when I explore a new area and using him with Topaz during the story quest was amazing. I had no understanding of his kit then but shield uptime was 100% and he has AOE follow up attack. I knew then and there I had to pull for him when he comes out.

Next time when you have a char forced into party like he was. Go into character screen. Go to abilities toggle where stats are and you can get a detailed explanation.
Also. Go for Robin = fuas ruan mei essentially. Buffs team like crazy, cc immune while singing as well as does a dmg everytime someone does a fua.

Well, got him and got 2 of his LC on my pity 10 pull. got him with 4.6k def (5.5k inside of battle), 86%-91.2% crit (with passive inside of battle) and like 200-210% crit damage. (again, in battle)

Got Welt instead and another 50-ish pulls to finally get Aventurine. Originally was also aiming for his sign but we will see if I can win that 75% chance with the jades I have left lol (I have none).
Aventurine feels like preservation luocha for me, wherein i see him being relevant far into the long-term regardless of the strength of his shield because it's possible for him to provide the shield with no skill points
I got him and his light cone and maxed him out, running him on 2pc ashduke and 2pc knight with salsotto 🥳

Trend of the Universal Market might also be a way to get more debuffs on enemies when you're running Topaz Ratio + Harmony. You get one debuff from Topaz (1 more for s1 one more for E1). Aventurine brings one more from his ultimate but doesn't have good uptime. If you don't bring a nihility unit like pela to the mix and want to run something like Ruan Mei or maybe *robin* in the future, you're missing that consistent source of the 3rd debuff.

@ecilion3047 you don't want to run ruan mei. Aventurine wants to be hit, therefore you don't want to break especially with ruan mei.
Clara or tingyun would be far better on team.
You definitely want to run robin.
I wouldn't run ruan mei.
Fua wants enemies to atk. Clara or tingyun would fit the composition better. Clara because she'll give more stacks to aventurine and move numby forward more.
Tingyun because she can have huge uptime on skill for fua teams, thus generating more sp for ratio/topaz skills and give energy for whatever ult you need.
@@Kspice9000 This is some feels crafting nonsense. Ruan Mei gives all of the buffs that Aventurine lacks in his kit, notably damage%. One or two more hits from the enemy is not nearly as much damage (it's like 2/7 of his passive at best), which really isn't doing much damage. Decreasing the number of times enemies hit means aventurine needs to press E less, and thus stays more SP positive. As of now, Ruan Mei is by far the best unit to be placed next to aventurine.

My favorite team with him so far is: Jing, Sparkle, Topaz, and him. ❤

What about “Moment of Victory” lc with belebog, turning 3-4 unfortunate substat rolls into ehr with the ehr from the lc, into 15% def, not such a bad deal…

I had to get my boi e6 , i needed a preservation character. and mine has 4.1k defense, giving him 100% CR and 200% CD on his own . He just does 300k FUA casually. Never raised DR Ratio, but i find Sparkle, Clara, Topaz and Aventurine. If I had Ruan Mei i imagine she would be better.

5:28 the passive talent crit rate doesnt show up in the stats right? cause i have about 4.2k DEF and have 18.2% crit rate in the stats screen. in battle, he doesnt seem to be doing a lot of crits and his damage is pretty meh. i’m using the pioneer set with broken keel.

I was hoping Topaz was gonna run banners with him but since it was Jingliu who I already had I just got Aventurine instead. Now I'm debating on his light cone or not to run with Acheron since he'll be an upgrade over Gepard for that team.

I'm a little confused on the spreadsheet. at 14:32. If all these builds are hitting 4k defense exactly, then why is the Shield value changing? I get it would change for the Knight set buff, but other than that, shouldn't it be the same across the board, since the table is meant to calculate how many rolls of def% it takes to hit 4k?
Good question, I should've explained it more (or added another column I guess) but for the no farm and Acheron builds, the goal is to go over 4k defense and not care about his DPS.
For Adventurine E2 is that considered a debuff for Acheron?? Like he has a total 3 Debuff E2S1?

Should we factor in his technique 24% def when building him? I want speed boots but dropping def means I lose a lot of def but working with the minimum 24% def from his tech I can manage a decent set.
lost my 50/50 to E1 Gepard at 65 pity but got Aventurine at 26 pity later and i won my 75/25 on his light cone at 8 pity

Ruan mei isn't suited fua teams since they want enemies to atk.
Since she allows easier breaking on top of delaying enemies it makes for a huge drop in dps. Better off with clara or tingyun until robin comes out.
Any use having Aventurine with trend LC with Acharon compared with Fire MC? Fire MC taunt debuff on skill, while Aventurine debuff on ultimate. I don't have Aventurine LC

I had 38 pity invested in the banner after I got my Acheron. Logged in last night to use up jades enough for a ten pull and I got the shiny star and honestly expected to lose the 50/50 bc I haven’t lost and have only lost 2 out of 11~ banners

Made the mistake of not looking and pulling on his banner with him at e0 when i was going for his LC (lost 75/25 so guaranteed) and aventurine gave me all his luck and i got e1 with 7 pity so now im stuck with e1s0😐
wouldn't trend be good as well for ratio? if the burn would help stack the debuffs. Moreso for me who has Topaz but not S1
In theory it would help some on average, but Ratio and Acheron are a little different in that regard, Acheron just cares about any debuff going anywhere, if they help her damage that's all the better, but it helps to have the knot stacks in multiples of 3 for max damage, but it doesn't have to. Ratio wants a specific number of debuffs on the same target because he has no aoe and that's what his stuff cares about.
So Trend isn't as good because it will just put burn on random targets. if you burn someone ratio isn't attacking all you get is a tiny amount of damage, while Acheron gets stacks which turn into more massive aoe damage. it will make it slightly easier to reach his thresholds on whatever target you want to aim at on average but it's not as good because sometimes it won't accomplish anything.

Fu Xuan sustains only with her LC, otherwise characters losing HP every time they are hit and her Ult doesn't feed enough HP return compared to Damage.
Aventurine says NO to damage.
the best relics (with very difference) is 2P Ashblazing + 2P Messenger, the ashblazing is amazing the extra damage, while the extra +15% def of 2P knigh is not needed really, is easy up to 4k of def without this relic.

If your account really needs another solid dps, sure go jingliu. If you think gepard is doing well enough for you, again go jingliu. But if gepard is struggling end game content, aventurine is a great upgrade.
I think you should add "Av" (average) to that "Def % Rolls" (like "Av Def % Rolls" or "x̄ Def % Rolls") so few people like me don't get confused by

Depends on what DPS and teams you want to run! Ratio and Acheron teams really want Aventurine. Mono-quantum like seele, qq for FX. Huohuo for Kafka. DHIL, jingliu teams are more flexible and can run any sustain tbh
I would personally pick Aventurine over FX because my FX struggles hard in highest G&G. I prefer using Gepard in those modes and Aven is the perfect Gepard upgrade for that as well as my acheron team

Either one is fantastic. Fu xuan is especially great if you want to run mono quantum, but aventurine shines in follow up comps. However, if sustainability is all you care about, while either one is fine, I'd go aventurine mainly because it is more likely they will push more content where he shines more. They clearly want us to make shields more, so yeah. But again, either one is fine
was farming 4p knights set for him the other day and somehow all my substats rolled 140% crit dmg. instead of def%...i think it might be a sign to go subdps...
Afer my terrible gacha luck in Genshin I switched to HSR and won every 50:50 since when (started during Blade's last re-run). Was every surprised when I got Aventurine 30 pulls after Loacha 😅 So I'm willing to share my insane luck with you all

Most guides cater to free to play users, but other cones have more utility like increased aggro to trigger his follow up sooner

Guys I have 2 piece knight two piece speed 4000 defense with decent crit rate/damage like 70% crit rate 147 crit dmg (with trace and broken keel) but I keep dying with Aventurine. What is the problem? Skill level is 9 while the others are 6 (other traces are unlocked)
