To all the comments asking why this is a beginner class . I was thinking about the same thing before. But now I am in Seoul and taking their classes and I found it is not that hard .I only had a little experience of dancing(36 classes of latin dance and 8 classes of jazz dance that's all) . But after taking several classes here, I can follow all the beginner classes.(including this , I was there )
So, if you got excited watching these videos, just go for it , start dancing ! and then you will realize it is even much more fun than you already have expected !

To all who are saying that need a potato class.
The choreo isn't hard actually. It looks hard because they carry it out professionally and with perfection. They are after-all trained dancer. The steps are, however, easy.
I tried and picked up the choreo within thirty minutes. But when I recorded it the first time, I swear even a dying cockroach looked more elegant than me dancing. But, I kept on polishing each step and recording it to find out where I was going wrong. After a week my dancing was tolerable to watch. At least , you won't require eye bleach after watching it.
By the second week, it was good. As good as a beginner can do.
Keep on trying, you all can do it as well!
Actually they're not trained dancers those are normal people that came to take the class. The only "trained" person is the choreographer (the girl in red in the first group)
@@Chi_Ch1 Huh? No that's not what I meant. I mean that they are all being trained by choreographer's. While I'm self taught
you're absolutely right.I'm a dancer myself and the dance may look a little intimidating because of the speed but they're really simple steps.The execution,confidence and flow of the red sweater girl (she's a professional obviously) is what makes the dance look so professional.
The way you carry yourself plays a big role in dancing/any art
@@Chi_Ch1 I think everyone in the first group are professional dancers. I recognize at least 2 of them as choreographers of 1million (Jung Koosung and Yoo Junsun). The second group however do look like hobby dancers or still in training.

Heh. So actually I practiced this dance for my class as an assignment and it took me about 4 days to practice all moves and so I'm gonna do it soon and lemme tell you this is such a good dance I hope things go well :)

Your right though, im a dancer and I'll watch a dance of any style and i just focu on one person instead of the whole group (much less confussing) and then I'll focus on main points in the choreography then add detail later. Its all about breaking the dance down.

Now I know the benefits of having a professional teacher. I'm a self-training dancer btw I personally think the benefits of having a teacher is they can tell you what to do and what you're lacking and how to improve. Benefits of self-training, uhm... Less awkward, saves money and you can do whatever you want without strict rules.

@@vinit.k I suggest you first get to know how your body moves. You can record yourself BUT never ever be discouraged, be okay with what your first because: your goal here is to improve. I suggest first learn any dance and record yourself, your will to continue and consistency is what counts, after getting to know your body, be familiar with the elements of dancing such as sharpness, fluidity etc. (you can watch those On The Scene who danced *inserts kpop dance* the best, it shows you how someone's dancing styles differ, and the details of how someone dances) one UA-cam channel, like you said that helped me the most throughout is STEEZY. They share great tips, how should you learn to dance, dance anything, the important part is consistency and getting your body used to dancing, once you're used to it you'll be able to know your dance style and which style fits you whether it's hip-hop, Krumping etc. it'll be easy the next, what really matters, especially for beginners is getting your body used to dancing, which in order to do that is dance as many dance as possible, because in order to know your style you should train yourself to dance first, don't be afraid to start as a beginner, start simple, if you have a goal, pay attention to the steps from the basic, now the UA-cam channels I recommend:

I'm learning this rn (also planning to learn other beginner classes before going on to more advanced ones as I'm still a potato at dancing) and this dance is so much fun ! Also it is also not that difficult as all the movements link with each other , just slow down the video and learn step by step ~ It's easy to follow even for me who have almost 0 dance experience.
Also u dont have to follow all the steps as it is , u can dance with your own feel in it , which makes the learning experience more fun and less rigid ^^
