I've always felt that Mohanlal's 'Guru' is a fantastical movie( it did go for an Oscar nomination back in the day ) but it suffered the ill fate of bad editing. Lallettan's own way of acting and his character's transmission to hero from villain part way through the movie all deserve applause and how hidden deep inside the very mundane "Ilama" fruit is a very profound and sophisticated ideal of religion and it's aftermath on human society but the film felt like a pain in the a** for watching. To me, it lacks a certain continuity from scene to scene and I don't know if it's from bad editing or the director's inexperience. Could you please elaborate on this?
