Thankyou very much for your comment. The track up is not too steep but can drag a little. Coming off the ridge line to the second hut is very challenging as it is steep and the switch backs very short in length and we thought we would never get there. Ranger said there was 99 turns down the mountain. I would not like to do this walk the other direction now I know that. It was a lot fun and we were lucky with the weather as the wind was not too strong going across the ridge line. Cheers

Thanks for replying! Do you mean that going down to the second hut is challenging? Because it’s too steep downhill?
@@Mohiniyadav1701 Yes, steep going down hill and painful on the toes and challenging on the knees. Glad we had walking poles.

What date did you do it
David we started on the 14/11/2023 and came out on the 17/11/2023.
@@andrewiverach659 just wondered because of the snow we did it 4-6 November and it snowed the night of the 5th
