The internal recording! And seems the operation is much better, I like the knob design, it's really straightforward! Pls can you review the sound quality as well, wanna know which sound quality can be better between hollyland, rode and dji?
Hi Andrew! Thanks for this review. Overall, these sound superior to most mics in their price point. Curious to know what the audio upload process is for a two mic recording. Are each of the tracks from each individual transmitter individually recorded or are both mics recorded onto one track? Thanks again!
I just got a set of these, I was using the much older Rode Link system. The latency of the Hollyland Lark Max is not as good. When you monitor the delay is enough to sound like a very slight echo. Not enough to mean you can’t monitor, but if you’re in a room for example, it will sound more echoey then it is. Of course it’s fine on play back. But the much older Rode Link mics have NO latency, there is simply no delay, it sounds like it’s hard wired. Has anyone else noticed a delay in the audio from the Hollylands?
I see the product difference between M1 and Max from the website. But if I negate the internal storage and battery, is the audio output felt different between the two?
This seems a makeshift system. why it looks so big, is this the whole idea is to have a smaller discreet system, DJI succussed due to their smaller foot print.... I DON't recommend, having this big size.......what you guys think... ??
The lav mics are not included. The transmitters do have a 3.5mm mic input to plug in your own wired lav mic if you want to use the transmitter's built in mic.
This looks more interesting than the DJI mic, hope they have a side by side comparison of the built in mic between this and the DJI mic and of course the rode wireless go ii
I tested the device and find it not bad and bought a new set. However, the new set is faulty and screwed me up on my shoot. Sent it back toretailer and they confirmed that it is faulty after troubleshooting. However, I have heard NOTHING from the retailer for more than 2 weeks. Really bad after-sales service when the company sold to me a faulty item.
The Hollyland Lark Max does provide plugin power for lavalier microphones, although Hollyland has not provided details on the exact voltage of power provided. Microphones requiring unusually high plugin voltage may not be compatible. >Mark
@@BandH Thanks! I'm going to try it with my TRAM once it arrives. I would think it could handle 1.5 VDC. If not, I won't push many of the better end lavs.
@@BandH Thank you! I finally heard back from Hollyland Support this afternoon and they said: "The Lark Max does provide around 4.2v of power from the 3.5mm jack."
I would literally pay more for a version where you physically unable to turn-on noise cancellation, to prevent accidentally turning your recording into unusable garbage.
I agree. Except paying more part. It’s a gimmick marketed as a feature. They all sound like you’re speaking underwater with your hand covering your mouth. Hopefully it’s “off” by default and remembers that setting.
@@YoungBlaze after I wrote this comment, I saw Dunna Did It’s review, and the noise canceling wasn’t as bad as other microphones. The technology is definitely improving, but I am still skeptical.
What content would you create with the Hollyland Lark Max?
I have but one question, This or DJI mic ?

I guess locking screws for the 3.5mm jack is a thing of the past. I wonder why they're not making that anymore. (except Deity Pocket)

Does transmitter can record audio alone without connected to receiver and device? Work as audio recorder standolone?
Yes
sounds great and cheaper than the dji option
Around same price and features as DJI mics? Not sure these would be worth it...maybe for $200 instead?

DJI mic has interference when using lavalier microphones. Does Hollyland LARK MAX Duo have the same problem?
The lav mics are not included. The transmitters do have a 3.5mm mic input to plug in your own wired lav mic if you want to use the transmitter's built in mic.
@@BandH I know I mean if I plug in some kind of lavalier, will I get interference?
this video is well put together, thank you❤
I am going to use it as a wireless microphone

Does it have lavaliers? You call it a lavalier system, but show none included.
Also in a pinch where your main lav mics fail, wedding DJ's for ceremony, etc.

Hi Andrew, can this connect to a Yamaha Mixer and send out microphone audio to monitors connected to yamaha?
The Hollyland LARK MAX system receiver will connect to your Yamaha mixer's via its 1 x 1/8" / 3.5 mm TRS Unbalanced Output port. >Mark
Looks like DJI
Beautiful 👍👍👍📸👍📸👍👍👍
Great Video!
AMAZING!!!!
Does the Lark Max transmitter support plug-in lab power like the Rode Wireless Go II?

Is there the mute button/option on the transmitter?
There is no mute button on the transmitter, you would have the mute the mics on the receiver end.

Worthless no, DSLR cold shoe 1:18 mounting just a fing clip
Copy DJI OS but better, let's go
I think DJI Copied the Lark 150 first😂, anyway users just care which one is better to use
