I wanted to bring you this irregular tribute video about very irregular show, Watchmen. HBO really went all out on this one and I love it. Truly remarkable show and I hope there is a next season coming sometime.
I hope you will like this video because I went all out on it as well. This is very unusual from me and I risked it, so fingers crossed.

I love the parallels between Adrian Veidt and Will Reeves. Two old men hindered by their anger. One justified, the other not. Difference being Will is able to let go of his anger, Veidt is not
Disco Spider why is Adrian angry ?
Angry due to being surrounded by idiot clones in a prison he thought was heaven. Also probably feeling subconscious guilt cause of the squid
Disco Spider thx I always thought in his head he felt that the squid attack was the only to save humanity but I didn’t think that he drove him to be mad or filled with angry.
Tuna Sub I thought that also, about the graphic novel version. But I think age has made him a complicated half-narcissistic, half self loathing old man. He would never admit he feels being wrong
Disco Spider Right but I can see it he does show anger and a bit of sadness I think mostly due to the fact “they keeping making their god forsaken bombs”

This shows how cohesive the show is actually done. The bit with Blake's joke was phenomenal. Well done! Really you are phenomenal!

Wonderful work
I am absolutely new to the world of Watchmen and I really believe this show is one of the greatest superhero genre show ever to come on television. Just look at the direction, storylines, character arcs and the overall relevations! I can't believe it has such a low rating and such a low audiences. This show deserves some serious attention.
Plus, kudos to the wonderful editing man. Always love your work.♥️

I found this video before even knowing what the series was about, I was familiar with the original comic and if It hadn't been for this video I would have never even consider watching this series. Thank you for this beautiful video I still watch it from time to time and never get sick of it.
Watchmen is the perfect exemple of knowing when to stop. The season is perfect and doesn't need any sequel.

One of my new favorite videos of all time, so well put together. Love the beginning with the jumps between Adrian’s recording and Looking Glass during the 11/2 with Clair de Lune playing in the back. Absolutely amazing.

@Deathcheat 666 Taken on its own it's not terrible I suppose. Compared to the Novel it's poor however. But without even mentioning the novel the show on its own merits fails mainly in its plot and logic. It also has poor payoff for the story arcs it creates and the pacing it builds in the first episodes come to a crawl with all the flashback scenes. To its credit it does world building very well and has some neat ideas. The problem is that The original Novel's world building is a gold standard in "show don't tell" and compared to the show it makes it look like they could barely compare. And the ideas (like Europa) either don't have much impact on the story.
There's a lot to unpack though with actually criticizing the show though. Nothing I could actually go into without several paragraphs and hours of going back to the show for reference. I remember enjoying it for the first half or so and then it just falls down by the end. Especially with Dr Manhattan. Everything about him fails hard.

One of the best shows of 2019. Just a straight-up amazing show (Episode 5-9 are just so good, the cinematography in 6 & 8 are especially good).

That joke is so cleaver because it goes with so many characters. Even Laurie herself
I never clicked a video faster in my life. Veidt's video is my favorite scene in the show, and you framed it as the intro beautifully, like the best recap ever for those who came in late.

It just blows my mind how you can make these masterpieces
I feel like every song you play during this clip fits the themes of this show so perfectly, you start with a classical piece representing Ozymandias and the basis of this show... Basically where we are after the end of the film... Then you have Space Oddity with the Doctor Manhattan part, which just obviously works so well with his experience on Europa... Then my favourite, hooded justices arc with Nina Simone singing here heart out... And finally you end on a happy, positive song because the show ends on a high... Unlike the film where it left us thinking that this alternate history is fucked beyond repair... With this ending though you have the egg, representing rebirth and hope.... Absolutely marvelous job man 10/10 for me!!

I think Alan Moore would have appreciated this series if he was open to it. Since it is about the aftermath and not about the Watchmen book. Especially how weird but cohesive the story was with so much details and precise story telling.

I know Alan Moore and his fanboys cry about everything outside the graphic novel but I absolutely loved this show. I think they did such an amazing job and I hope they do another season!
If Alan Moore was so concerned about the story maybe he shouldn't have sold the rights to it, just saying.

This was an Incredible Masterpiece for The 2019 Watchmen TV Series. This TV Show Truly Felt Like a Continuation of The 1986 DC Comic Book Series Watchmen. I’m still Surprised That There Hasn’t Been a Second Season.

I would love for the Rorschach tribute to come back, I cant view it anymore it was one of the best you had on you channel I subscribed to it for that video. All of your videos are great but that one had a special place in my heart it was really involved in the character.

But knowing Dr. Manhattan he wouldn't do anything to stop it. He adapts the Calvanist point of view which denies the existence of free will, that nothing ever changes.

Wow amazing work as per usual. I always wonder do you watch popular shows in order to make videos that’ll get a lot of attention or is it just shows/movies you were planning to watch? Also while watching the show do you like take note of time stamps because you know it’ll be a great moment or do you watch the whole thing and then go back? Been watching your videos for a while and they never fail to amaze me, so happy when I watch a new show and realize you had already made a video on it.
This is one of the best shows of the year and it is such a masterclass in storytelling.
How Damon Lindelof chose to create a sequel of sorts and have this much depth to their own take on Watchmen is just incredible. This show made me feel guilty as a person for not knowing more about the horrible past an entire group of people had gone through.
I do not understand the hate with this show. It really is something to be in awe of.
Also Jean Smart is amazing.
There's a lot of prominent people with certain political biases and huge fanbases that released videos on it after seeing the first episode. Poisoned the experience for many.
