Swanage pier is a popular dive site for new and qualified divers, being one of the few sheltered sea diving sites on the south coast. Thousands come to Swanage Pier to Scuba Dive under the wooden Pier framework or to board boats to other local dive destinations, including many wrecks lying in deeper water outside the bay!

Great video, and (pun intended) good food for thought. Carefully and purposely sunk wrecks have seen a tonne of life spawn in those areas. Provided its safe for the environment, perhaps this is the way forward for biodiverse and protected areas.
