The original Ford Ka was much loved for its cute looks, funky interior and entertaining handling, yet this second-generation model feels more straight-laced and less fun. It shares many of its mechanical parts with the Fiat 500: in fact, they're built in the same factory. There are two engines, one petrol and one diesel, while a wide range of trim levels offers plenty of scope for personalisation -- including some crazy looking stickers. Entry models aren't very well equipped as standard, but flagship versions are luxurious.

Had my 2010 Ka Titanium 8 years now and no plans to change it.Best car I've ever owned.
I have the ztec version of this car with A/C and alloys it's my first car and I'm 17 years old and I'm 5ft 2 I find this car comfortable and so do my friends that get in it. There's an AUX cable slot and there's enough room for everything I need and the boot is huge! The only problem I have with this car is when I have a car full it seems a lot heavier to drive, other than that it is s great and reliable first car and it's good on petrol.

ihave this car the titanium model have had it 5 years no problems ..have changed all tyres to bravuris 3hm fr 80v no more motorway noise as i had with continentals .cheap to run .and have a good ford service outlet . Haynes .a good all rounder car ..

mine came with michelin, which according to black circles, who have 10 tyres in that size, the michelins are the quietest of the bunch, so maybe they moved on from the noisy continentals when the press complaind?
As good as this thing might look, I can't help but wonder if the SportKA wouldn't be a better option.
watching this video as I had my first driving lesson in this car and it is car for short people. I am 6ft3 and even after adjusting the seat my knees touch the steering wheel and my head touch the roof.

Lol, I'm 6'1 and I find most cars a bit claustrophobic. It's like being taxed because you're tall as small cars aren't made for people around or over 6ft.

Love mine, but you failed to mention the jerky fuel injection. An experienced driver will drive around the issue but it may be a tall order for newbies.

As long as the driver is a decent size, and the passenger moves there seat a bit further forward i fit quite comfortably in the back and I’m 5’10

Here in Brazil the new ford ka is completely different in design, It's a lot bigger than this one and has 4-door, but this one looks more badass
you will pay more than the car gives u .. in the same price category u can get dacia(Renault) Logan spacious and good in city

Emad Hamdy please don't compare a dacia to a ford....please just don't.....my 2002 ford ka is better equipped and more comfortable than a 2009 dacia logan....
I had a Dacia and it fell apart after one year.
Overpriced but failure on the market and price drop down in 2012 made me to buy it for city riders. Noisy at high speed, not comfy to ride at normal rides made me very disappoined... but then i realised how it rides on limit. Rev hungry Fiat FIRE engine delivers smoothly my 6300RPM limited to 6600. Gearbox is great. This car has two souls. Boring, lazy, noisy and fun and andrenaline when you are not afraid to reach rev limiter. I am using both. Lazy and nice fuel economy for daily comute and fun to enjoy speeding, cornering on limit. Love and hate this car at the same time.
I wish they brought it over here (U.S.) but I highly doubt it. Maybe in time.

@matthewlopezgoodwin the equipment might be cheaper but the dimensions inside are exactly the same, check the official spec you big know it all.

Had one of these as a commuting donkey, overall it's poor but you'd expect that for the price. The jerky fuel injection however is just a joke, especially when cold. Turns into precision surgery trying to pull away or rev match smoothly sometimes.
Definitely wouldn't have another.
If they brought this to North America it could be the Ford Fiesta's little twin, the Ford Nacho. haha
This is the last car i would want to be seen in, along with the vauxhall adam, fiat 500.

Got my Ka Zetec this week really pleased with it, disagree with what he said about back seat space, I'm 6ft 4 and my sister is 5ft 10 and she can sit behind me when I am driving with no problems with leg room or head room, it's a great little car.

I've got one of these been driving two years now getting rid, but a brilliant car I mean for only 69bhp it's fairly fast and good through the corners plus insurance is really cheap, good on petrol to :3
it is a good car, my sister owns one, and its like £30 just to fill the tank, which is pretty cheap.

It's actually a sweet car. Put slightly bigger deep dish wheels one it, lower it a couple of inches and with the manual gearbox you have a sweet ride.
I still have my 2011 1,3 TDCI Titanium model which is a very good little car, but its really a shame Ford didn't release a ST model, it would of had competition with the Arbarth......
I am talking about in Europe. I might take your accusations about those products affecting Ford's reliability seriously, but it seems you can't even use the correct form of 'their' in this context. Yes, Ford has had a few issues, much like every manufacturer, however they are still among the most reliable.
KA is brill as long as you know its limitations. Always take a good run at a hill…

What I don't understand is that they say the car is 2014, but the video shows it was posted in 2010.
