I think they might be projecting, too: Six wants to feel strong and in control for a change, be predator, not prey; RG wants to just be left alone. A subtle way of showing differences between two children who have been through hell Either that, or I'm seriously over-analysing it and it was just "one child is meaner while playing". Idk
