- I'm sure with this video I got the other locos on film that I never got on Saturday.
After midday things got very relaxing due to class 46045 failing just by Bewdley North Box with I'm told a bad Oil leak, and had to be recued by 37263 from Kidderminster which all takes time, so now most were running over a hour late.
So when I got to Bewdley I was surprised that 59206 creeped up behind me as that should had gone, so that was a bonus but I missed the main shot of it.
Well I hope you enjoy the video.
Great selection of footage. I always enjoy the SVR & you always manage to compile someting special.
A great time was had by all, wish I had felt better.
Super video Mike from this wonderful railway
Thank you mate.

Indeed!
Mike The Master oh Bullseye Jim Bowen love it Such Nice People Different Times?!
Oh Brian.
Nothing short of excellent. The sounds of the countryside in Spring with the sun and nothing else upto 1.18. That's my idea of heaven.
Ps. Please can you tell me what your video editing software is? I really liked the effects you used switching between different shots
Morning Julian, thank you very much for your comment on this video.
The software I use is Sony Movie Studio.
Great video Mike, super line up of locos and some excellent locations. Glad the weather was kind. Well done 🤓
Yes Tony the SVR did a great line up and they were lucky they only got the one day when it rained.
Great looking loco remind me of my younger Wen we were changing from the big for steam to desk the class 52 with mk 1 custard and cream choked I can rember traveling all the way to kingswheier be for the line finishes at Paignton great days
Thank you for your thoughts Andrew, thank you for watching.
Love to See this Again n August/Sept
That will not happen Brian.
Does anyone know the purpose of that first coach in the set behind the class 70? It looks like a TPO carriage, but according to the website it's a former BSK converted to a generator van for Departmental use. I don't think it was there to provide train supply, as the 37 was doing that
Interesting comment, I haven't got the answer unless it has something to do with the coupling.
Great video.
Glad you enjoyed it Jonathan, it was a very good diesel festival.
Just brilliant Mike. They sure do know how to put on a gala at the SVR and it has to be my favourite preserved railway, beutiful scenery and a dam good watering hole at Kiddy station.
So glad you managed to capture the 2 days worth of workings mate, thanks and take care,
Colin.
Indeed they did do a great job in getting such a super line up of locos Colin.
I loved the 20s and 37s and you have to love the sound of a Western, but seeing a 59 69 and a 70 on the SVR was great and it pulled in the haulage bashers.
Take care and have a good bank holiday, and thank you for your comment regards Mike.
Good to have you back Mike 👍
Thank you Paul.
Very well done Mike :)
Thank you Simon.
A really enjoyable chat with you earlier Mike thank you.
Thank you Nick.

No style in modern lococs to day but that's mine opinion only I can rember at garston in Liverpool the fright liner electric loco moving contains in the green livery
Ok Andrew cheers for taking a look.
Great shots Mike. Very peaceful at Arley before the first train arrived.
Yes it was Phil but I was there early before the stationed opened.
Great stuff Mike. Love the way you always capture the atmosphere so well. Filming that calmness at the beginning before the thrash and clag takes over.
Pleased you noticed that Ben as that was the way I wanted it, Mike.
What a brilliant video, some top notch clips here. That 20 sounded incredible at Little Rock. Good selection of locations away from all of the crowds, the morning shots at Arley looked very peaceful
Your thoughts on my latest video are spot on, so that means for me a great day at that very organised gala.
Thank you for watching.
Another great part Mike. A Good location at Little Rocks.👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it David, and yes that's a good location.
Really nice Mike, love the little rock location with its scenery and sounds from the locos 👍🏻
Thank you Jamie, I have been to that location before but not done that angle before, I normally walk the track but I didn't have the energy to do that.
nice to see a class 70 with the 37 on rear the gala looked good
Thank you Andrew for your thoughts
Superb shots and captures there Mike. Nice sounds and liveries. Another gooden from you! Good bit of action there. Love 70005 again and 59, 69 too! Very nice indeed! Really enjoyed, thanks for sharing! Take care, have an awesome day and all the best! Jamie
Cheers Jamie, yes I love to hear the sounds of the 20s and 37s but it was great to see the locos you liked,
Thanks again for watching Mike.
@antman09ful1 Anytime Mike, absolutely, and for you of course you did well getting these. Cheers, Jamie
Awesome video Mike!! Everything there was amazing especially liked the shots at this Little Rock location!! Weird to see modern HSTs on heritage railways after riding behind them not even a year ago! Arley was lovely and peaceful before the trains started to come as is the rest of the railway to be fair!!
Glad you enjoyed it all what I got to film on the Sunday, it was a shame the class 46 failed before it messed the afternoon timetable up.
Have a good weekend Jacob, regards Mike.
@@antman09ful1 Yea always seems to happen at SVR galas by the afternoon the timetable is in shambles but still its out of thier control sometimes but its always amazing to be there with the atmosphere and all! Have a nice half term!
