Take a relaxing walk with me through one of Chicago’s most historical neighborhoods. This neighborhood is located on the Southside of Chicago in the Pullman neighborhood. Pullman is filled with so much including the Formee Pullman Clock Tower and Administration Building that opened as the Pullman National Monument in 2021.
Pullman has many historic and architecturally significant buildings with those being - Hotel Florence; the Arcade Building which was destroyed in the 1920s. The complex surrounding Market Square and Greenstone Church. Pullman was one of seven sites nominated for the Illinois Seven Wonders.

Is this post apocalyptic? Where are the people?
It is 12 degrees outside. This is how Chicago is in reality when it is cold outside. Everyone is indoors - either in their homes or inside of the coffeehouse 😊
We have to wait until the spring to come outside. It has been between -1 and 15 degrees real feel. No one is outside at the moment unless you’re really traveling to work and the grocery store. It is supposed to warm up a bit but really this is how some areas are in Chicago. We don’t really hang out in the neighborhood. Unless there’s an event - open bars/restaurants - block parties and etc. you will see people in downtown Chicago but that’s not how our neighborhoods are in actuality. That’s just Chicago. Summertime might be a bit different especially on the north and west parts of the city but it is the norm here. And to add that it is extremely cold 🥶
