Seeing Nate making music that isn't based on things like a chicken's fart or a stuttering helicopter is actually a great reminder that he actually really knows what he's doing.
I know you like being self-deprecating sometimes either as joke or because its just something that comes with the craft; but your videos and especially videos like this have helped me a lot with understanding to make music better. I still suck at it and i havent done anything in forever because its really hard sometimes to get motivated, but every time i watch you and your videos i do end up taking small pieces of knowledge with me that i hope to one day actually use in a meaningful way. Thanks for making videos please continue doing them, you are one of my favourite creators on the internet right now and i always see myself looking forward to another video. Hopefully one day i'll be good enough to actually participate in Audio Combat, think that would be pretty cool. Have a great day :)
You can do it if you set your mind to it. The more time you put in the more you will get used to it and it will make the process easier and easier. All you need to do is commit the time and don't be afraid of making terrible music along the way. Good luck!
@@RaiseAnchor I watch his stream sometimes. Both Bishu and Eliminate are funny and really smart. Their music contests are even similar. Audio Combat = Bish Battle.
I haven't been able to do much either. I have a few tracks that are really good ideas but right now that's just all they are, ideas. Its finishing them that's the hardest part. Like the other commenters are saying. You just gotta sit there and do it. Yeah, its never gonna be perfect right away (or at all), but the more time you dedicate, the easier it gets.
As a metal head who records regularly records guitars, bass, and drums - it’s super cool to see this style of music creation in the raw. Super cool Eliminate!
Love the shit out of the audio combat and meme material but stuff like this is just GOLD. I forget that you’re an actual legitimate producer sometimes. This was great!
Idk how feasible it would be, but a video showing off how you mix tracks on a deck would be cool. I love your production vids, so seeing you fuck around on a couple CDJs or something would be neat.
bro i dont even like dubstep but eliminate can still make me headbang to his shit. i loved seeing you making a video with a more serious tone once and not making a meme song!
Nate, I learned to use FL Studio by watching your videos since the start of quarantine, and seriously dig watching your process to this day. Much love from Texas
I love how he didnt just slap a bunch of loops on everything an call it a day for the sponsored video he actually edited them and used them how they really should be used.
Its super interesting seeing Nate be somewhat professional I guess and actually show what he's capable of. please do more like this brother. much love from Scotland
this is why i love this guy right here, Nate is so talented i love the "comedy" videos like audio combat and stuff like dat i laugh and have fun even if English is not my first language, but i also love watching nate's more serious side and he can prove that he is very very talented he can make a banger trolling and playing around or just really focussing on his song, a trully legend, bro u are insane, hella underrated and my favorite on this, keep going bro love u
I found your channel in 2020 when I know a lot of the things that made me smile during a hard time, like audio combat and the meme sample song, started because live shows weren’t exactly happening, so seeing these clips of your set mixed in was really cool. Feels like we made it through. I’m glad you get to perform again.
This was sick. I enjoy seeing your craft like this because it shows me the little things, like resampling and then adjusting the patch to change the sound further. Great work dude.
Hey Nate! I've seen you do the copy move with Shift and the mouse quite often. Ctrl+B might save you a lot of time! If you don't want the selection to be copied right after the last clip, you can select a range in the top of the playlist before using the shortcut too!
the vocal sample is the same as light it up by camellia and im pretty sure you have it at almos the same pitch as well it was throwing my brain off for a sec, great content as always
I mean of course It's not the best f*cking song I've ever heard, but this is truly a talent that you have Nate. Creating such a banger within only a few hours. Someone would make a whole ass song like this in months. And yees... yes... he's using cool presets, but who the hell cares honestly. Keep up the good work Nate you are truly a legend.
yo this is dope, I will say the sound guy will love you if you just low pass it at 10k at a 6dB slope, for some reason live sound speakers hype everything above that like crazy so those hi hats will hurt at the volume you're gonna be at and doing it at but such a gradual level won't really affect anything else. hyped that you're doing well with gigs dude, best of luck from a sound guy
I don't really know how to make Dubstep very well, but I purchased the full bundle in hopes that it will provide you more sponsor opportunities in the future. I really like your content Nate, you're one of my favorite youtubers. I hope you'll keep making these videos, they are both great educational tools and funny as hell. Big love
"I'm not sure if this is enough of distortion" my Beyerdynamics be like: "thx bud, bye now, had a great time." No sersiously, this is really good enjoyable content, to understand how others approach and deal with music theory, but also adapting, acknowleding and editing given elements up to a certain degree of completely derailing its original context in a flawlessly good way. Very awesome video Nate :)
I really appreciate how your description illustrates his creative methodology. The intellectual fun of literary semantics is almost equatable to that of music production. :DD Oh yeet.
Haha. Thanks for watching after that beat lmao. You're funny dude. Cool music. A long time ago I went to what we used to call a "rave" back in the 90s, and the DJs were so good, the drops were so fulfilling, it was stuff you couldn't find on the radio or even the internet. I really like the educational videos with good explanations of not just how to do certain things, but why it is done in the first place. Outstanding stuff, would love to see more vids from Virtual Riot's best friend like this one :)

"2 birds stoned at once" bro really made me laugh 30 seconds into the video what a G
watch the show trailer park boys, you're welcome :)
The syncopation on the 2nd drop is fucking sick, love the rhythmic creativity

10:10 sounds like "i made dubstep with my cat", a classic eliminate video that only ogs remember
the "just keep rockin" sample was the main sample of Savant's song "Change". never knew where it was from

Eliminate is incredibly talented. Deserves so much credit.
Seriously always in shock every time I watch you make music, you have rare talent!
I started to expect an entirely serious video until 9:50 happened. Thank you for that.
It got me so hard I had to come to the comments to see if anyone else had been bamboozled
A certified Eliminate classic

This song was such a banger too, goddamn!

crazy how quickly you were able to turn someone else's sounds into something that just sounds like you. what a banger

before rocket powered sounds, my sounds weren't rockets
after rocket powered sounds, we going to the moon

The intro is actually my favorite part of the song ngl
Please for the love of god make this an official release im BEGGING
Good to see some serious production on this channel once in a while

Love this vid so much information in so little time. I have never seen a good explained in depth video while making a track.
This was so helpful. It’s so easy to get stuck in the olllll 8 bar loop mode so seeing someone else’s workflow definitely helps generate some ideas.
