At 10:00, the loop condition "~j" is equivalent to "-j-1" (because an integer's negation is equal to its two's complement, i.e. -x = ~x+1), which means "-j-1!=0", which means "j!=-1", which means j is 0 for the last iteration.

I’m trying to understand your page of code at the very beginning. Do you have a bunch of snippets/general templates that you easily and quickly access and your allowed to have going into the competition? Or is it just left over questions/answers that you’ve done from past questions.
if you observe the line number he types on, it’s in the 100’s. he has macros/templates above the solve function in every file to shorten amount of code written during contest
Hi, William! I started to coding some weeks ago, and you filled me of hope and motivation!! Because I am, I was and I will be wondered about your skills and your capacities while you code. One of my goals in the next some years. It is just to be at least a half of how are you, of course if I can beat you or one day being as good as you coding, it would be awesome. And after found this channel, I was wondering of the amount of people who are genius in their area, and how they are soo substimated and underated. Well, this is to much text, but I want to type this message as a recordatory of my progress in the future, and compare myself to see if I am just a fraction of you!! (Sorry for my english, it is not my first language)
@Big Dog And what is the definition of genius? That is comparative, and if you compare him with all the programmers around the world, he is above the media, perhaps he is better than 95% of all them, if that is not a genius, what it is? Being part of the 0.000001%? Just think it
This guy skim reads all of the text which tells him the problem, checks the output and then begins to produce coding language I never knew existed inside of a language I code in and still criticizes himself. If Google doesn't hire this lad, then I don't think he is the problem lol
I think Google is more than happy to hire him as he will probably crack each single interview question given to him. The question is more like whether he wanted to work for Google because he could receive offers from various companies and Google may not be the best one.
I wish I could just have a miniature version of you on my desk to help me learn programming. I’m learning the CS50 course right now and every lecture is so complicated 😅
