Why would the Doctor of all people ask THIS from a Dalek? They want to exterminate anything that is not them. That has been their thing, and she has known them for literally centuries.
I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed how this doesn't make any sense from a combat perspective. Why would you need a rotary gun to fire an energy beam?
It occurs to me that 99% of Daleks have probably never actually MET the Doctor, and most of the ones that DO don't survive the encounter, so maybe this is a legitimate question. For the average Dalek, maybe the Doctor is an almost mythical enemy and they don't know for sure what the Doctor knows about them.

Too be completely fair, asking a Dalek why they’re seemingly targeting certain individuals or a specific location warrants questioning (even if they’re not gonna answer you unless they’re feeling expository). Sure a Dalek would certainly try to exterminate everyone in a random storage unit as a matter of principle, but that doesn’t answer the question of why a Dalek is hanging out in a random storage unit in the first place

@@chaserseven2886 They’re scary the first time you watch them as a kid (in the sense of they’re always angry & would kill anyone at any moment) but after seeing them come back again & again you come to realise that they’ll never beat the Doctor & become less scary. Some episodes do a better job than others at portraying them as a threat & they’re great villains but you never feel afraid of the Daleks in the same way.

At this point, your Daleks are kind of just how I imagine regular canon Daleks. Considering that the Daleks in the episode itself were already hilarious, I was waiting to see how you would adapt it, and once again a masterpiece has been created.

Every time I watch a Dalek story of Doctor who now I can’t stop hearing the Daleks saying “BUGGER!!” I always look forward to these parody videos as they are really entertaining and very funny my favourite line in this one had to be “we have exchanged the pew pew for a ratta tat tat” lol 😂 xx
While 0:38 is funny, like, it’s a line that does make sense imo. The Daleks don’t go out of their way just to kill Aisling Bea and her stalker. So curiosity is warranted.

The Dalek voices are absolutely on point. As Nic Briggs himself as pointed out, there’s a lot more to it than just -speak-ing-like-this- These are excellent
I think what would’ve made the shall we say “selective” aim work with the story better is if they acknowledged that the different weapon gives the daleks faster fire rate and allows them to have multiple targets but at the cost of lower accuracy at long distances
