So cool to see this course pop up on a course vlog. I used to play TW PGA TOUR 2003 and this was one of the courses in that game. Feels like it gets lost in the Central California golf conversation with most people talking about Pebble, Spyglass, Pasatiempo, and Half Moon Bay. Looking forward to the back 9 and the rest of the PB vlogs
My man!! If I could only begin to describe how surreal it was actually being there in person.....after 25 years of playing golf video games, it was magical! (just wait until Pebble 😎)
Always look forward to watching you play. I just moved smack dab in the middle of Oceanside municipal and Arrowood down here in Oceanside. I've been inspired to shake off my rust and get back out there so I can get in playing shape for when my dad visits. I'm looking forward to getting out there soon and enjoying the great north county weather. Thanks for keeping us inspired! Love your channel and love your game.
Arrowood is one of my fave places. The course is awesome but so is the driving range with the bar and social hours. I tell all my friends about it. We host a annual golf outing there in August, going on year 4
Man that course looks amazing!!😀⛳ Like the flyovers too!! You had a rough start but you stopped the bleeding on the third!! It definitely is harder that what it looks!! I think the greens are a good defence for the course!! Nice birdie on the 9th too!!
I was pleasantly surprised with how well the course was. It looks like the renovation back in 2014 really brought this course to life...its magnificent!
I played this course for the 1st time a few weeks ago. Such an awesome course but tough! A lot of those bunkers were planted just for me haha! We had the fog roll in hard on the 5th hole and just killed the carry distances. A must play course on a Pebble trip!
@@TerminatorGolf It was sunny & clear skies when we teed off and the fog came in real quick! But it was still awesome. We played Pebble, Spyglass, Bayonet, Poppy, and Spanish Bay, in that order. Did Bayonet & Poppy in the same day. Epic trip!
One of my favorites I ever played. To bad I didn’t play well but it is a beaut. Have you ever had any bad experiences filming while playing with randoms?
Never with the actual people I'm paired with....but sometimes on slow courses the group behind me will start to get irritated seeing a camera out...not realizing I'm not the slow-play culprit
It appears so.....as the yardage book had it flipped as well....I think the flow is really good now with the 10th tee across the street and 18 finishing right under the clubhouse
@@TerminatorGolf Along with the driver I also don’t remember seeing you bogey that many holes on any 9. It’s a tight tough course. Personally I’d take that because I don’t play enough anymore to except much from my game. Love/hate relationship with the game. I always hit just enough good shots to suck me right back to another round. Followed by my usual inconsistent game. I used to play Poppy Hills a few times a year back when it $50 with an NCGA card, and I lived in the Bay Area. I was wondering if it renovated because it looked different and then you mentioned the renovation.
My brother and I just watched this, love your stuff. We are starting a GoFundMe to get you a new putter -:). Suggestion to change your UA-cam handle to get more hits. You should have 100K+ subscribers.
You are so lucky for the blessing that allow you to play this course. I'm sure it was fun!!!
And it was only the 1st of 3 rounds during my vacation! Stay tuned…
Another great video, beautiful course
Nice to be playing with your dad…👍🏻
I feel very lucky to be able to enjoy some of these rounds with my Dad….especially the next one to come. The whole trip was simply fantastic!

Deceiving! That course looks a lot easier than it actually is! I can’t wait to go to Pebble one day!!

@@TerminatorGolf Looking forward to the back 9!!
Next time terminator plays pebble he’ll be on tour
Play Los Verdes in Rancho Palos verdes next! Would love to see my beautiful home course on the channel
Maybe I already have? 🤷🏻♂️ stay tuned 😉
I got to play this course in the early 90s when it was part of the Pebble Beach tournament and was almost $100
And here when I played it back in June it was $100 for twilight!

It’s very strange how the weather can change so quickly! Did you get a chance to play anywhere else while up there?

@@Thebestcantaloupelove it! hard to beat when you play the best 5 public courses in the area!

They must have flipped the 9's since I played here, because this was the back nine when I played there in 2019.

“I forgot to record the bunker shot” lol
You should play tijeras creek next
Whoa, haven’t thought about Tijeras in a while! I’ve always put it in the “overpriced OC golf” category….but I’ll check it out
@@TerminatorGolf Very true...Its not looking great either
you doubled 7, that was no gimmie ha
The camera does not do a good enough job of showing how tough and good that shot was on 7
😂 unfortunately not….shoot the gap!
I don't think I have ever seen you hit driver so much. not one 2 iron on the front.
I probably should have used it on 7 & 8....but a couple bogies will cause me to sometimes just keep hammering Driver
