Then I watched the story.
I was so freaking mad that kid and his mother got away with it I wanted to break something! I agree what the ‘Disney Cult’ group did was super kind, but as OP said he only got a fraction of his cards back, and that kid probably showed off his ‘hard-earned’ collection at school.
It just makes me wonder how people like this exist.

That was probably the story that triggered me the most. I used to have a ton of pokémon cards too, but they got stolen by someone back in primary school (I left them just outside my classroom door abt halfway through recess and came back to find them gone). Only thing is that was before I found out pokémon cards could be fake...

Cheesy egg omelette and bacon
Ingredients:
4 eggs
1-4 handfuls of cheddar cheese
4-6 tablespoons milk
1-2 teaspoons fresh cilantro (optional)
Salt and pepper to your liking
Beat eggs together in a bowl for until combined. Add milk, salt, and pepper. Mix until combined. Add cheese and cilantro, slowly mix until everything is mixed. Transfer to a non-stick pan, pour the egg mixture onto the pan, turn on heat to medium heat. Cook until the bottom is no longer runny. If desired put more cheese in the middle of the omelette. Fold in half, cook until the middle is no longer runny, flipping occasionally to prevent burning.
Bacon
Cook however much bacon you want in a large saucepan. If desired, pour a little maple syrup or honey on the bacon. Mix the bacon around in the pan to get the syrup or honey on all the bacon. Turn on heat to medium. Rotate bacon around every few minutes. Slowly reduce heat once the bacon grease starts boiling. Be careful as the grease might splatter (I’ve learnt that the hard way lol). Continue slowly decreasing heat until it’s on low, still rotating the bacon. Cook the bacon to your liking. Prepare a triple folded paper towel for the bacon. Place the cooked pieces onto the paper towel, until all pieces are gone. Cool and enjoy!

Okay so my dad divorced my mom when I was around 1 or something. So my biological mother and maternal grandma are both the embodiment of a karen (from the essential oils to the crappy hair do)
And I consider my stepmother to be my real mom.
Well anyway, back to the story.
My dad told me about this part:
When (s) and I were younger, (d) was a police officer, so he decided to set cameras up in the apartment we were living in. So after one of the few joint custody visits with (EM) she called (d) saying (s) and I forgot some clothes and that she would bring them over. And so (d) greeted her at the door and got the clothes.
Not even 15 minutes later the police arrived to arrest my father for hitting (em). But (d) said wait and pointed at a box of cereal at the top of the fridge, and there was a camera hidden behind it!!!! It showed what really happened and my dad's butt was saved by that cereal box.
(S) and I found out later that (EGM) was behind it all.
Funny thing was that after that, every time we visited (EM), she refused to by the same kind of cereal that uncovered her lie.
