Titanic Hotel Gendarmenmarkt Berlin | Review

This is a totally independent review of The Titanic Hotel Berlin Gendarmenmarkt, Germany.
For my 2 weeks in Berlin I wanted to stay in a 5 star hotel in the heart of the action in Berlin City Center (Berlin Mitte) , but without breaking the bank , so decided on The Titanic Hotel (no relation). This is what I found:
The Hotel is located on the busy Französische Straße, just around the corner from Berlin's highly historical Gendarmenmarkt, this is a 5 Star Hotel situated in one of the most upscale parts of Berlin city centre.
The Konzerthaus is 4 minutes walk away for classical music and opera goers.
The Gendarmenmark Square is also home to two famous baroque cathedrals. The surrounding area plays host to numerous upscale restaurants, bars, cafés and shops
The Titanic Gendarmenmarkt Berlin is also within a 5-minute walk of the bustling Friedrichstraße and the iconic Brandenburg Gate and famous Unter den Linden. The nearby Hausvogteiplatz and Museumsinsel U-Bahn stations ensure excellent transport connections throughout Berlin.
The Hotel is housed within an extensively refurbished historic building constructed in the early 1800s, which was heavily damaged during WW2, and then neglected as part of East Berlin during the partition of Germany 1945-1989.
The Titanic Hotel was opened in 2015, it has 6 Floors, 208 Rooms and 14 Suites. It also features the inhouse restaurant the "Beef Grill Club by Hasir"

To be honest I did not like the double room too small .... No bathtub, minibar on request... Not my choice

Crap wifi is inexcusable. If I'm there on business I expect high speed wifi everywhere in the hotel for myself and any guest. Imagine not being able to hold a Zoom or Teams meeting from a hotel in 2023! And you're right about the minibar, it's unforgivable not to stock it automatically, given the markup on drinks. It's small things like this that are telling, and will annoy guests. The best businesses delight their customers.

pour moi déjà un hôtel 5 étoiles avec une bouilloire c'est pas un hôtel 5 étoiles....j'ai eu des hôtels tellement mieux que ça et moins cher
