Fixing centre console and dashboard creaking noises

I noticed this noise coming from the car in the first year of ownership, but the dealer was never able to rectify it.
It only occurs when the car warms up after a 30 minute drive, or is left in direct sunlight heating up the dash.
Shout out to the service manager named Carlo @ Bayford Volkswagen in Camberwell who kept helping diagnose fix it. They disassembled the dash and the centre console to apply felt tape twice to reduce the rubbing.
My local VW dealer Waverley Volkswagen wouldn’t even touch it, and even had the nerve to tell me it was the tires (all terrains) causing the rattles.
Volkswagen when emailed would just send me around in circles back to the dealer.
