Muchas gracias Jhonny!
Helloi Eaglechild (what a cool nick!!). Congratulations from Italy for your amazing music taste! Now you have to make a cover from the Staccato Album par excellence....FORTUNE!!!! But there are so many great A.O.R. records full of magnificent keys in the '80s (Shooting star-Silent scream,Survivor-Vital signs,Beau Geste-Another night in the city,Shy-Brave the storm,Giuffria-Silk+Steel, the Van Stephenson ones with Alan Pasqua etc.). And my all-time favourite A.O.R. CLASSIC: I-Ten Taking a cold look. By the way,you have a lot of work to do! Ha! HA! HA!
fabio vezzosi Hi Fabio! Thank you! :-) I know all of those bands you mention, and I love all of them. At first sight AOR seems a small world, but when we start to look for bands, we realized is much bigger than we expected. Also Everyday thanks to youtube I’m discovering new and very rare ones! Thank you! Greetings from Japan ;-))
@@eaglechildkeys it's difficult to enclose the A.O.R. in a single genre, because it ranges from westcoast (John O'banion, David Roberts) to Hi-Tech (LaMArca, The Stabilizers), moving from the southern (Duke Jupiter, Michael Stanley Band) to pomp rock (Spys, ArcAngel), also CCM artists often excel in this field (Sweet Comfort Band, Idle Cure) ....Furthermore you can't count how many bands and soloists authors of valuable one-offs exist (it's simply impossible to discover them all!!), not to mention the often unavailable and expensive EPs and Mini LPs....However i've got a question for you: who are your favorite keyboard players?
@@fabiovezzosi2172 Yes Fabio, that is true. Many styles, and all of them are simply fantastic. Also, the early 80s , the production and sound was more warm , soft...After that when the digital synthesizers started coming out, changed to more clean and crystal, shiny sparkly sound. I love the first as much as the last years. And as for the keyboardists,, Good question! I love many, but my biggest influences are Rik Carter (Heartland), Paul Taylor (Winger) , David Munch Moore (Strangeways) , Jonathan Cain (Bad English) and also in a jazz style, I love Bill Evans very much :-))
You are playing my favorite and the best AOR ALBUM EVER MADE over the planet.
