Totally awesome...I've got to show this to my son who has MS. He gets hung up on over and over because people can not understand him. It is so heart breaking to watch this happen to him, or anyone. Best technology I've ever seen!!
My grandfather's speech in his last days due to stroke really got a lot worse...we rarely understood what he wanted to say
Since then I had imagined of such a technology but in India you've no opportunity to make dreams a reality
Thanks to Google for giving future stroke patients and their families a ray of hope
OMG, Google you are a good company. This is so nice to help people with problems and don't go for the money. Thank you
Everything goes with money it a company
@@pratikkhadtale You clearly don't know anything about Google. Sure, they need money to survive, every company does but that doesn't mean that everything they do is just because they want money. Especially not Google
This is so amazing good job Google 🙏
Wooohooo nice and brave devs, good work
I watched this during the keynote and I teared up. I hope this project helps a lot more people. I am so supportive of this. Thanks Google. :)
Good job Google, thanks for this project. I hope it will be success.
Amazing! truly a noble work
So needed! We need more more more of these types of things.
Why are there dislikes on this video? I don't understand.
amazing
Just saw this as presented by Aashima Gupta in a Healthcare Executive Forums conference and honestly hit me very hard emotionally. I wish I could be a part of some technology that could help people in this way. Keep up the good work!
google Thanks from all people of pakistan ....hope you bring all your products outside usa and india someday
Amazing. You got all my support
This was the stand out feature of I/O for me, giving people back their voice who have had it taken from them.
If anyone you know has problems with their speech please go to g.co/euphonia
OMG it's so amazing! I wonder if one can build a device which will understand what you're saying but also provide a feedback if you sound a little off. Such device would be very helpful for deaf people to learn how to sound "normal"
Google is the best freaking company in the world.
Another reason to love Google

Thank You for doing this Google! This is absolutely awesome!!!
If you need more test subjects (users) during development phase, please let me know. I'm nonverbal and I would be a great candidate for this!
When you are ready for Alpha or Beta testing, I know a large group of special needs friends at our local university would gladly help out during the QA phase.
Totally agree. I would love to have a part in this!
This is incredible! I've taken part in Project Euphonia this afternoon with the form but would be keen to do some more after having a TBI (which has caused aphasia). Please let me know if there's any further way for me to get involved beyond completing the Impaired Speech section.
We're getting real close to Star Trek voice recognition
Fabulous! Way to go Google!
Awesome! :)
Excellent
Much love, Google.
Awesome job that's my comment
Nice
Hello google, this is so good. thanks, I am a Computer Science teacher and a mentor of a trainee teacher who visually impaired, he is training to become a Computer Science Teacher do you have something like this that is also useful for visual impairment? Will this be something that will be available in the future? We are the first school to train up a visual impaired teacher, so this is ground-breaking.
My heart breaks when people can't understand me I pray Google you can find a way to help us speech is so important we just want to be heard Google you can change so many people's lives we have so much to say see me hear me I am hear I am me

👏🏼❤️
I need a contact please to someone in this project who can help my Arabic-speaking nephew benifit from this app.
The simpler issue is the John Oliver joke about voice recognition systems force you to have a American accent
🤟
🔥❤🔥
Cover the captions and watch this video. I dare you. Thanks Google.
I did! In a short amount of time my brain adapted, recognizing the speech. Machines (trained) will do this faster.
any published papers?
makes sense
Good job, I thought Dimitry was speaking Russian.
Dimitri actually never heard himself speaking english. He started learning the language when he was already deaf. Impressive, right?
Великолепно ! Вот только в нашей стране он наверняка уже давно бы спился и умер.
0:42 ох как он умеет хорошо материться на русском))
