I got a little confused when Tim said there is the option for an additional 3 Mix Outputs for a total of 4 with Pro and Max. I have the 4K Version so that would not apply to me, yet... I am not sure what is meant by the 3 "Mix Outputs". You guys ROCK. Just had to say it LOL
That was an error, you can have 4 outputs from vMix 4K also. They were called "mixed outputs" because you can use the Outputs menu to assign them to something that isn't your program Output. You can assign an Output to a multiview, preview, replay or an input. That means you could create a input with multiple layers and essentially have a different "mixed output" being sent out onto the network. Hopefully that makes sense.
@@vMixhd TOTALLY!!!! Thanks for replying. I use it that way. It is GREAT. I was just scared that I was missing out on something LOL I am soooooooo thankful for the extra Mix Inputs with the last update. It has taken me to a whole 'nother level. So when I heard "mix output" I am like "a mix Output???? What kinda mad scientist stuff have they cooked up now???" 🤣
Great feature thanks. I use vmix for professional use, but many times I use it to record tutorials and I really miss you can't record audio from desktop like in other programs. I resorted to virtual cables, but it would be nice if this function already existed. Is there a way to do this from the same computer, not from a second one, that I don't know of? Another request, would it be possible to reduce the Thumbnails space without turning off the video preview? Especially on laptops, there is little space to manage many inputs and using tabs to divide inputs is not always functional. Thank you.
Hi. Great content again. We use proclaim for our lyrics presentation... Strangely the NDI output to vmix has a low resolution, anyone experienced this and know how to fix please?
I always suspected you were Thor, given your exuberance and heavily chiseled physique. Seeing Thor's hammer confirms it. I'm always right. At least, that's what my wife says! Two lies in a row, impressive.
Thank you so much. I am using the NDI alpha from Vmix to Vmix and I send Graphics from a LIST input. Unfortunately there is a "bug" that sends a black frame every time I change to a different element on the list, so I have to be turning the overlay on and off all the time on the receiving Vmix since that black frame affects the whole output. Is there a workaround? Anybody experiencing this same issue?
We used easy Worship for our main presenters and send the alpha channel NDI to vmix as the lower third
Can you brief me how you do this cos am using esw6 and I downloaded ndi for the system to pick the ndi on vmix but the overlay doesn't work
@@olaFrankCode we are using EasyWorship 7

Did you find a solution to your problem without using audio cables?
@@JoshKaufmanstuff no...

Do you have a tutorial of how tu use rts? Could you make one?
Sir can you explain me, is it possible in vmix we can add small png images (channel logo) under scrolls, like news channel?
Is this really alpha? Or just Luma? I'm asking, does it send a key out background or is the program just filtering out ome color
May I ask who is designing these vmix banana artwork on the Shirts you're wearing?
Probably some expensive Madison Avenue graphics design firm. The shading is perfect.
can i record the alpha channel in vmix?

Where are you able to find a workaround from your black frame NDI issue?
