Equivocality - Imho, I don't think Jin was worried about being left in charge because the boys didn't really needed looking after. Also Hobi & Suga and the staff were there to help out. Jin's English is good enough for them to get by so that was not what he was worried about. I feel that Jin was genuinely upset that they would be missing a member on their first trip together. He was also probably extra sad that it was their hardworking and deserving leader who had to miss out on the trip that he had been so excited about. He looked like he would have traded places with RM in a heartbeat just so that RM could continue to enjoy the experience of travelling abroad that Jin was fortunate enough to have had with his parents. I really love the relationship between these two. It is one of mutual respect and sincerity of friendship.

I guess with how I see it, Seokjin seemed to be a person who unconciously tend to look out after people's needs (of course this applies to all of them). Yes, _that_ -- what you said about him being extra sad about having to miss one member on their first group trip -- I agree on that. I really kept seeing how sad he is and he looked really longing. Thank you for your input. It's exactly why I love their relationship too. The thing about them is that they can make you smile because of their relationship, whether you ship (romantically or platonically) them or not. RM is book-smart while Jin is street-smart, they are simply 2 worlds clashing together chaotically and I love it. I feel like this video highlights their relationship very well, like there's no exaggeration or made-up opinions.

Imho, I don't think Jin was worried about being left in charge because the boys didn't really needed looking after. Also Hobi & Suga and the staff were there to help out.
Jin's English is good enough for them to get by so that was not what he was worried about.
I feel that Jin was genuinely upset that they would be missing a member on their first trip together.
He was also probably extra sad that it was their hardworking and deserving leader who had to miss out on the trip that he had been so excited about.
He looked like he would have traded places with RM in a heartbeat just so that RM could continue to enjoy the experience of travelling abroad that Jin was fortunate enough to have had with his parents.
I really love the relationship between these two. It is one of mutual respect and sincerity of friendship.

I do agree that the younger ones didn't need much looking after, and that the hyungs and staffs would be there to also help out if needed -- I guess I worded my thoughts vaguely on that. I guess with how I see it, Seokjin seemed to be a person who unconciously tend to look out after people's needs (of course this applies to all of them).
Yes, _that_ -- what you said about him being extra sad about having to miss one member on their first group trip -- I agree on that. I really kept seeing how sad he is and he looked really longing.
Thank you for your input. It's exactly why I love their relationship too. The thing about them is that they can make you smile because of their relationship, whether you ship (romantically or platonically) them or not. Sometimes though... they tend to give off signs that _might_ suggest something beyond 'just' friendship -- but that's another topic for another day (and I'm not sure if you're someone who thinks of it like that, or if you're comfortable on that train of thought as well). 😊
