It aggravates me because we even see this in HS cross country running, which I did for 3 years in school, and I can say the fastest girl in our state, a junior by the name of Katelyn Tuohy, broke the state record at 16:54, and guess what that would put her in? She'd be about 5 seconds behind my friend who went to state, who's a guy. We see this at every sport and at every level. It's an asterisk over that win because YPK RAYE is actually out for the rest of the tourney now so it wasn't fake.
