No surprise at this point in Silvia. Beautiful version of this tango composed in 1935, 87 years ago. He sings it with his usual passion, his usual taste and his usual vocal technique. Nothing to reproach her for. It seems that the eclecticism that he has always displayed is increasingly turning to latin-american song and flamenco, which I am already very clear is what he likes the most and where he feels most comfortable. Far, far away are those years of his youth when he graduated in Vocal Jazz from ESMUC and did nightly Jam Sessions with his friends in the bars of Barcelona. To really be a Jazz singer, much more is needed than singing tangos accompanied by Ignasi Terraza, no matter how much he is one of the best jazz pianists in the world. Or being a spectator in the studio at Rita Payés mythical recording with Lucas Delgado and Juan Pastor. And I must be very naive, but I still don't lose hope of hearing Silvia sing "Georgia on my mind" accompanied by Scott Hamilton and the Sant Andreu Jazz Band. Or "Embraceable You" with Ignasi himself on the piano. But "all life is a dream, and dreams are only dreams".

Two favorites in fine form.
