- I admit to doing something I thought I would never do with my vintage baseball HOF player card collection. And I didn't just do it once, I did it twice. Besides that, I also picked up another big card to fill another hole in my run.

I loved this. I could hear Dylan smiling the whole time.
John had a smile on my face the whole time of your confession to succumbing to your ocd! Weve all done it. Aaron is nice, good pick up!
John, great find with that Hammerin' Hank. I think there are a lot of us that have gotten past the grades on our cards as long as they look good to us. I'll stare at my cards that could be better centering or fuzzy corners that I know I could find a better version of despite being a lower grade. I can see Dylan saying "I finally got you John!"
Hi John, love that 57 Hank Aaron. Congrats on the pickup.
Always nice to try something different
Lol..The Chris from Missouri reverse camera was hilarious.
Beautiful Aaron, John! I would think that card would be more expensive, but great pick up
Sweet to add a Aaron that looks amazing
Damn it, Dylan! 🤣🤣🤣He's gotten to me, too! I probably need 10% better centering than I used to be happy with! 🤣🤣🤣Oh man, what a stellar 57 Aaron! 🤯🤯🤯Congrats, John! Fantastic pickup and it looks amazing! 😊👊
I wonder if there's a link to collecting when it comes to cards, be centered in a certain way, and OCD. But the important thing, is you are doing what suits your collection which is great, I am totally not jealous your office space, is right next to your display of cards. Yep. Not jealous at all. Anyway hope you have a great weekend, John. And a happy and blessed Thanksgiving.
Nice pickups! Off center doesn’t bother me much but you do you!
I think changing to copies you’re more satisfied with is absolutely normal and good. The only thing that bothers me is when I’m happy with what I have and people say I should upgrade.
Nice 57 Aaron! I have an OC card in my collection that I love but still question. I’m trying to look at it like variety in my collection is a positive. We’ll see if that lasts. 😂
Awesome Aaron!
Nice stuff, sir! That 57 Hank is a fantastic card! One of his best for sure.
Thanks Aaron
Beautiful Hank! Congrats!
Thanks Rick
Stunning 57’ Hank John 🥳🥳. Dude I sucked you in slowly 😂😂😂. So fun to watch this one 👊🤙🤙
Glad you have enjoyed my descent into your madness Dylan. 🤣
@ 🤣🤣
Beautiful 57 Hank John! I also fall in the category of off center cards need love as well.
Thanks Jason. Be careful, he might get to you, too. The way you talk about card choice and budget sounds very similar to me from 2 years ago.
You centering psycho. Damn that dastardly Dylan!
Gave a video like. Terrific Henry Aaron!! Congrats on the pick-up!
Yup, Dylan got to you. I’d never do this. Nice cards however. Very funny ending.
Your collection. You rules. Aint it great?!
Another one bites the dust, huh Dylan!? Lol Good stuff John!
Another one gone… LOL
Thanks Brent

Real Estate is about location, location, location. Vintage cards are about centering, centering, centering.
I don’t look at the grade nor do i care about the grade (unless it is a PSA 1), as I look for centering first when i buy vintage cards. I can deal with corners and some surface issues, but a centered vintage card are the only ones i buy.
Great cards. Thx for sharing. As a kid I never noticed OC unless they were 0-100 or worse (-10, 110 😂). Now I can live with some OC, depending on card age, though even seeing OC is something I even notice.
I’m with you on my cards as a kid. I once bought a 0-100 Gwynn rookie in ‘89 for only $10 cause I wanted the card and didn’t want to pay 3 or 4x for a nicer copy.
And now, it has become a strong factor for at least post war card decisions.
Thanks for watching Dave
Welcome to the dark side John! I am the king of picking up a different version of a card I already own.
Live that 57 Aaron wow what a deal, I would have guessed you would have needed to pay much more, it gives me some hope.
Congrats!
Hail to the king! Lol
Thanks Steve. It does feel like a card that is cheaper than you would think. A fourth year card of an inner circle guy and it looks good too.
Laughing out loud at your Chris From Missouri impression.
I see that you had to do some rearranging of your wall to add the Jackie. You probably spend some breaks from work making adjustments. If I worked in a room like that, I would never get any work done, easily distracted.
Nice deal on the Aaron. That 78 Reggie is on my list, but looking for an SGC 7 at a good price.
SGC for the win!
What a great Hank! I thought you might have bought a rookie card!
Thanks Allon. I did kinda tease that might be the case, didn’t I. 😉
Oh John, you're just around the corner from going full on, bat $hit OCD Dylan. By the way, nice subtle shout out to Chris at the end. LOL
😂😂😂
I think the only thing saving me on that front is that deep down I’m still a bargain seeker to the core. (Mom was a coupon clipper.) The premium these sellers put on the perfect centering is nuts. The exact Aaron card I got has 2 BIN examples in a 4 and they want $400.
Thanks Mike
Lol.
Sometimes you just have improve your collection. I refer to cards I hope to replace as place holders. I have a bunch of them. Still, i have too many holes to fill first. Stupid collections driving us crazy. 😅😂
Dang it Dylan….true social media influencer, brain washing the masses😂😂😂😂hey as long as you are happy bro…get the cards you want🤙🏽
😂😂😂😂
Thanks Lou. Clearly he’s an influencer. 🤣
Judging from all the cards I’ve bought from him, I’m guessing your boy Don is a silent about it Dylan. Every single one is near perfect centering.
So with door to your hobby brain cracked open, are you rethinking rookie cards, if they’re centered?
The old Koufax has much better top-bottom centering and not a diamond cut. The '78 Jackson has better centering as you say. But this whole centering I think is getting way overblown. I'd much rather have a card that has original gloss and sharp corners and great focus but without great centering than one that has much less of those three things and better centering. As long as it isn't miscut it's in consideration for me, though centering is still one of many factors. Just not this stuff that's again developing where centering is the be all and end all.
For whatever reason, the top bottom centering does not pop out and bug me like left right. I agree that some people go a bit over the top with it. For me it has just become one of the evaluation factors I’m considering. Thanks for watching.
