I was just saying I needed more OPI in my life but I get overwhelmed by the number of polishes that I can choose from. But this collection feels very balanced to me (at least in the sense that I want summer brights but I also know that I get nude cravings without warning.) Thank you so much for also doing the comparisons so that I could see if there is something in the color family that I might like more!

There are too many California-themed collections this summer! Can't the companies think outside the box? I've lived in the Midwest my entire life and would love to see a Great Lakes collection, or a farming-themed collection. Now THAT would be different!! (I won't hold my breath...)

The problem is, other brands did California too not just OPI 😂 (but at least brands dunno what the other brand is doing). I’m sure if they knew they would avoid duplicating each other hahaha 🤣
Also, another thing I’m wondering, since 2021 is OPI 40 year anniversary and they started in Cali, I wonder if all collections this year will be themed a get a different California location 🤔

Costal Sand-tuary looks very clean and cute 👀. The first two browns look so tasty and unique too, they actually look like they belong in a summer collection!
They remind me of people tanning on the beaches haha :)
Love the swatches, review and comparisons. My favorites are the brights due to the current season, although I like some of the browns too. Those green, blue and purple shades are my top three. TFS!
Yeah, i see brown being for Fall usually, but for summer because of China Glaze's Body and Sol collection, i started being ok with browns/neutrals/nudes for summer! haha feels like tanned skin :)

Thanks for your comparisons, these are really helpful! "Sun, Sea and Sand in My Pants" was in my wishlist, but I purchased "Marigolden Hour" last Friday and I didn't even notice that these two are so similar! (That's my type of yellow, I guess 😂) so I won't purchase the first one. Gracias desde España! 😘
This was the comparison I was looking for!! I LOVE “Sun, Sea, Sand” - it’s sort of yellow orange on me. But my formula doesn’t apply that well. I might get this one instead and see if the formula is any better!

I find them super similar formula wise, but if I was gonna buy one I would usually recommend going with the newest version (so Marigolden in this case). If I already have SSSInMyPants, Idk that I recommend buying this one since they r so similar, u know? But if u love yellow, then it won’t hurt to have both either haha

Which top coat do you use PLR? Could you do a video on good top coats/gel like top coats one day please? 😍
I always recommend the top coat from Glisten & Glow. It’s quick dry and high shine. I have thought about reviewing top coats but I realized I wouldn’t be good at it. I’m extremely biased towards quick dry top coats and so my video would be horrible 😂 .
I bought a couple of the bright colors, the coral and strawberry waves forever. I put the strawberry on my toes. In addition, I got El-matadoring you, that I love. I have fair more pink skin. Do you think Bonfire Seranade would work for me?
If I'm being honest, i don't know. I don't know what works for specific skin tones because what I might like maybe you don't like. You have to feel it and see if you like it, u know? I think if you enjoy it, then it would work for u haha
@@PolishLabRat I guess I need to make a trip to the store to see it in person. This shade would make me come out of my comfort zone for sure, and I think it would be great to wear in the fall.
Yeah and also you can try to get a mani at a salon with it, and u can wear it without commitment to buy it :☺️

I know you’re reviewing OPI but in your opinion what are your best nail polish brand?
Oh, a lot of them. I don’t have a favorite brand right now - the mainstream brands I cover usually and recurring, are my fav ❤️ - from non mainstream it’s DimensionNails
Those first colors the browns the gold they are African centric colors. That goal is beautiful. Especially when you wear a African head wrap with those colors in it and your eyeshadow is that gold mixed. Those colors are African style I'm just saying. They're not for everybody.
They are popular in the Caribbean as well ❤️
