Triumph motorcycles are super reliable. Got 2 of them. 98 Thunderbird Sport and 2013 Thunderbird ABS. Took the Sport to New Hampshire and to Maine from New Jersey. Absolutely no issues. Took the TBird ABS to Niagara Fall, Finger Lakes, Lake Ontario. Beautiful riding bikes. You won’t regret it.

I had a 2000 in the same color. I truly miss that ride.

Very nice , but remember to turn the fuel of when not riding , none vac tap so do tend to flood , ive owned a few . and K&N does flow more air so does make them run a bit weak , choke needed for longer . I love these bikes .

Naw, they not. They're just British and that being the case, they're a true bikers bike. If you just want something you can get on and ride with no hassle or fuss, they're no good as they'll soon breakdown from lack of maintenance. If you're the kind of biker that dotes on his machine like a child and who does every last bit of maintenance as listed in the owners manual bi-weekly/bi-monthly etc then they'll go for miles. Plenty of really old Triumphs for sale over here in the UK that have been looked after and they're all still ticking over. Same deal with old British cars by rights. If you want something to just run with no fuss, go Japanese. Or hell, go American. American bikes are good at still running with little maintenance from what I hear. But, if you actually "enjoy" getting your hands dirty and doing all the oiling and adjusting, go British all day long as the pleasure from the end result is unmatched.

      Why do you say ‘unreliable’?
